So far I’ve completed 4 weekends/64 hours of Balanced Body Pilates Teacher training. I’ve started practicing what I’ve learned with some amazing friends. My heart is full my mind and body are tired but hungry for more! This has been perfect timing for me to start this journey. I also believe it will bring more knowledge to my ACE PT training/education and Health coaching education/knowledge. it’s been a long time coming but thanks to you and your teaching and mentoring. It gave me the little push needed. Thank you for introducing me to Pilates and !

Did you know that our wellness had 8 pillars needed for us to find life balance? ⁠

☀️ Emotional wellness is the ability to understand ourselves and cope with the challenges life can bring.⁠

💼 Occupational wellness is the ability to get personal fulfillment from our jobs or chosen career fields while still maintaining balance in our lives.⁠

🧠 Intellectual wellness is the ability to open our minds to new ideas and experiences. Staying curious along with creating. ⁠

🍃 Environmental wellness is taking responsibility and care of your global environment and your personal surroundings. ⁠

💰 Financial wellness is the ability to identify our relationship with money and skills in managing our financial health. ⁠

👩🏼‍🤝‍👩🏾 Social wellness involves how we connect to others around us and in the world. Having a strong network that can give support and guidance in our times of need. These should aid us in having healthy relationships. ⁠

🏃🏽 Physical wellness is the health of our physical bodies and our acknowledgment of our need for movement, nutrition, and rest. ⁠

🧘🏾‍♂️ Spiritual wellness is the ability to establish peace and harmony in our lives. ⁠

If you had to rate how you are in each pillar from 1-5 ( 1 being needing a lot of attention to 5 I am good) where would you stand? ⁠

Anything that you are starting out in life takes time to cultivate. Just think about the simplest tasks we do today that took us months or years to learn and excel at.

Do not get discouraged with your weight loss. Do not give up with a new skill your trying to become fluent at. Become resilient in growing that business of yours. Not seeing the changes in your body with working out? Stick with it you will/ Things take time to change and grow.

Dig your heals into the ground when things get so hard you just want to run from the challenge and feel uncomfortable.

You got this!
Remember as long as your failing forward then you got this. Don't fail and run backwards. Forward on..... You got this!

Step Back the next time you get caught up in a thought of the past.

Practice catching yourself when thinking and feeling emotion 💚over the past.
Feel it recognize it.
Then let it go.

Yes, the "let it go" part is hard. It does get easier once you become aware of the thought and feelings. It take practice. Just like a sport, writing, painting, etc.

The past is like the wind 💨🍃. You can not catch it or change the direction. What is done is done.

What can you do? Learn from it. Grow from it. Fall forward. 💚

Sometimes we just have to remember the things we can control.
Things we can control 👇🏻

🍃 Your opinions, actions, emotions

🍃 Your attitude, mindset

🍃 Your focus, how hard you work

What you can not control is 👇🏻

✲ Others opinions, actions, emotions

✲ Who your family is

✲ The past

It's a small step in becoming more aware of the things we can control. Life is all about the small steps.

Create the time to cultivate what matters in your life... "But Jen 🧐 how do I find time with the ever-changing current life I am living?" you ask... I have a few tips. The most important one is setting Boundaries for Yourself in whatever it is that you want to create the time for. I can empathize and know that setting boundaries are probably one of the toughest things to do. It has been and is still a work in progress for me.
Need someone to help guide you in creating time for whatever it is you wish to cultivate in your life, new habits, feeling stuck in slow motion with feeling blah. I have the tools lots of them in my toolbox 🧰 of getting! I have gathered a ton of them in my own journey. Guess what? I am still gathering tools 🛠 along the way.
