Not every baby needs a tongue tie release to make breastfeeding a pain-free experience.

Sometimes a mama and baby need lactation support with an IBCLC to help with positioning, latch, and more.

Sometimes a baby needs help from a specially trained physical, occupational, or speech therapist to help with body tension and oral motor function.

Sometimes a baby does need a tongue tie release when these conservative approaches aren’t enough.

And when a baby does need a release, teamwork makes the dream work.

There is no one-size-fits all. Each journey is unique and is best with specialists to help guide you. We are happy to be part of the team to help support breastfeeding goals.

🌟 Day 24 of : Jumping for Joy 🤾 At around 24 months, toddlers start jumping with two feet.

Prior to reaching this milestone, you may notice your toddler bouncing while in standing or jumping down from a short height such as a stair step.

These activities help prepare them to activate their calf muscles and coordinate the necessary movements for takeoff and landing.

Over the next year, your toddler will start to jump higher and farther as they play with their jumping skills.

What great heights are you excited to see your toddler jump to?

🌟 Day 23 of : Dressing 🧦 Around 23 months, toddlers start to have greater independence with dressing activities.

At this age, many toddlers can undress themselves and remove socks and shoes.

They may even be able to put some clothing back on with only a little help.

Sometimes this new skill comes with frustration as unsuccessful attempts to dress/undress may cause some big feelings.

You can try keeping dressing practice fun by playing with costumes or using silly accessories.

Does your toddler get easily frustrated with getting dressed/undressed?

Share your clothing struggles below.
