Representatives from Holzer Post Acute service lines attended the Buckeye Hills Career Center signing day event this morning to recognize our student employees and their accomplishments. Holzer Senior Care Center and Holzer Assisted Living are proud to partner with BHCC for job placements and are looking forward to what these young adults will accomplish in the future. 🖊️🎓

Day 5 of Nursing Home Week wrapped up Friday with a “trip to the ballpark”. Residents had a fun game of tee ball while filling their bellies at the popcorn bar and staff enjoyed an all American style cookout with hotdogs and more 🍿⚾️🌭

Holzer Senior Care Center - Day 4 of National Nursing Home Week was filled with all things nature related. Residents and staff created one of a kind pressed flower framed artwork, made their own birdhouses and finished the day with some s’mores.

Day 3 of National Nursing Home Week was a blast at HSCC Casino Night 🎲♥️♦️♠️
Residents enjoyed a game of Live Slots, Black Jack, appetizers that perfectly fit the theme, and root beer floats!
Our staff was even visited by Madame Claire and received “fortunes” and “treasures” as a small thanks for all their hard work.

Day 2 of Nursing Home Week at HSCC was truly unforgettable as everyone came together to celebrate Family Fun Day with joy and excitement! Whak A Mole was a phenomenal hit and brought forth an abundance of laughter! Our incredible staff was treated to a mouth-watering breakfast featuring pancakes, a yogurt bar and fresh pastries, a wonderful tribute to their tireless efforts.

Holzer Senior Care Center residents kicked off Nursing Home Week in style, bonding with River Valley High School National Honor Society students. The students teamed up with staff and residents to plant vibrant flowers around the facility, elevating its beauty. After a morning of collaborative gardening, our residents were treated to a heartwarming Mother’s Day Tea, complete with delectable fruit kabobs, soothing tea, and a creative art session, resulting in beautiful framed keepsakes. 🌷🫖

Holzer Senior Care Center has the best admin team around and with it being Administrative Professionals Day our staff members were surprised with gifts including a few of their favorite things as a small thanks for all the behind the scenes support they provide to our facility. The contributions these individuals give to HSCC are invaluable and help keep us running efficiently every day!
