Happy to report that I'll be giving a talk at the last KarmaFest in the Carriage House at Steppingstone Museum in Havre De Grace, MD on June 28th at 5:15. The talk is called 'Songs of Love - A Ta***ic Journey". I'll be signing books after the talk somewhere nearby. I hope you can come join me there! I couldn't miss being part of the last KarmaFest!

"Introduction

So many love stories to share, stories of deep love and open-hearted connection, stories of delusion and misunderstanding. Best of all, transcendent love stories that shine light on the truth or pretense of all others. For the last 20 or more years of my life I’ve been immersed in a healing spiritual journey centered on opening my heart. The depth of this heart path led me to my sweetest and darkest moments. It continues to surprise me as it moves me into the unknown and unknowable, each precious moment at a time.
I was lucky to be born into a loving family, raised to believe in love, friendship and kindness rooted in a Quaker tradition; a tradition of silence and the simplicity of the ‘Inner Light,’ finding God's voice within. As a young child I remember standing in our driveway by my Dad’s car, the top of my head below the car’s window. I had a sense of contentment and curiosity that sunny Sunday after Meeting for Worship. I remember thinking, “This God person’s important. I better pay attention in Sunday School.” My journey began.
Many parts of this book come from my journals and some from memory, using playful creativity and invention on occasion. I’ve shared gems from my Beloved teachers, authors and poets along the way. Any conversations, unless written word-for-word in my journals, are constructed from memory or come from taking artistic license. I keep that right next to my driver’s license. (Wink Wink)

Throughout these pages I've shared many intimate s*xual details. If you’re uncomfortable with explicit s*xual content, much of this book is not for you. My s*xual journey played a powerful role in my heart’s evolution. I hope to encourage readers to let go of making s*x wrong and use that powerful energy to propel you into ecstasy and the truth of your being. It’s all part of the joy of being alive in this precious body!

The books I love to read open my heart and inspire me to live a loving and vibrant life. That’s what I hope to offer you here. For years I only wanted to share the light side of the story, only happy uplifting or s*xy fun things. It is incomplete without its shadow. I hope the balance offered here, the yin-yang of my story, brings you to a loving healing place. Writing has been an important part of my healing journey. I hope you enjoy my twists and turns as I continue to find my way to here and now with an open heart.

Did you know you can read any Kindle ebook on any device if you download their free Kindle Reader App. Why am I posting this? Well, I actually make more royalty from my $9.99 ebook than I do from my $25 paperback. I wanted color photos inside the paperback and that raised the printing price to over double a black and white book. I'm learning the business of publishing a book. I do get Authors Copies for a little over the printing costs so if you'd like a signed copy let me know and I can ship one to you for $25 in the US.
December 21st and 22nd I'll be vending at Winter Solstice KarmaFest Celebration (no entry fee) from 10am to near closing both days. I'll be selling and signing books and giving an All Love talk and meditation at 12:15pm Sunday. I hope you'll come out to see me and buy a book while you're there! How to express emotions if not on others?

“You have to throw and empty out all that is suppressed in you. Anger, violence, joy, misery, crying, laughing, madness – all are suppressed within you. And remember one thing: when you release any of these energies on someone else, you are entering into a vicious circle which you will not be able to come out of. You have to release all these energies into the void....

“There is no need to express on others – express into the void. Express your anger to the empty sky. The sky has a vast heart and it will not come back to you. If you can express all your suppressed emotions, the catharsis will be complete and you will be cleaned. The body will become pure. When the body is pure, meditation will grow wings.”
