Welcome Summer Purks to Lakeland Acupuncturist! Summer earned her Masters of Acupuncture from top accredited college Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine in 2021. We see the number one and two killers of Americans are heart disease and cancers. This past year we introduced the use of the Heart Sound Recorder test to assess nutritional needs of the heart and this next year we are expanding testing to include Thermography Services (via ThermaImage) to identify early signs of inflammation in order to help the body heal. We've also added coaches to our Guided Nutrition Coaching program as well as telehealth services so distance is no longer a reason to not get started. Chronic stress frequently leads to depression, acupuncture can assist with this.
