The Lions' Gate Portal is an annual event. The portal opens July 28 and it remains open until August 12, but the peak of energy happens on August 8.
The reason for such a potent energy peak is the alignment of the sun in Leo, the star Sirius, and Earth on August 8th.
After being hidden by the Earth's angle, Sirius reappears in the sky, bringing a surge of light and manifestation energy.
