Mother’s Day can be a beautiful reminder to pause in gratitude for the people who nurtured, guided, protected, and cared for us 🤍

For some, that’s a mother. For others, it may be a grandmother, aunt, teacher, friend, mentor, father, or another loving presence who showed up with care when it mattered most.

Today’s mindful reminder: take a moment to appreciate the “motherly” caregivers in your life—the people who helped you feel supported, encouraged, and loved along the way.

And if this day feels tender or complicated, may you move through it with extra gentleness and self-compassion.

Some of the best medicine is shared. 🌊🥁

A drum circle on the beach.
Laughter between strangers.
Adults playing like kids again.

There’s something deeply healing about finding people you can simply be with.

Nature has a way of bringing us back to what matters—
shared moments, movement, music, play, connection.

Not perfection.
Not performance.
Just belonging.

✨ Science note:
Healthy social connection is one of the strongest predictors of mental and physical well-being. Supportive relationships help regulate the nervous system, lower cortisol, increase oxytocin (the body’s bonding hormone), and improve resilience during stress. Shared experiences in nature amplify these effects, increasing feelings of joy, safety, and connection.

Sometimes healing looks less like “working on yourself”
and more like sitting around a fire, laughing with good people.

Today’s invitation:
Find your tribe.
Say yes to community.
Go where people are creating joy together.

🌱 Get outside. Play more. Connect deeply.

💬 Engage:
What kind of community makes you feel most alive?
Tag your adventure crew or send me a favorite memory of connection in nature.

May at PranaSol: Nature & Connection

We were never meant to heal, grow, or carry life alone.

And yet so many of us move through life disconnected—
from our bodies,
from community,
from stillness,
from the natural world that regulates us so deeply.

Nature reminds us that growth doesn’t have to be forced.
Connection reminds us we don’t have to do it alone.

Both help create safety, steadiness, and resilience in the nervous system.

That’s the heart of May’s theme:
🌿 coming back to what grounds us
🌎 remembering we grow better together

Spring has a way of waking up joy again. 🪺🌱

A nest from last year.
Quiet now, but once full of life.

Nature is full of these reminders
that what looks dormant isn’t the end,
it’s often the space before new growth.

Birdsong returns.
Green pushes through.
The world gets a little louder, brighter, more alive.

And something in us often does too.

✨ Science note:
Seasonal increases in daylight, birdsong, and green space exposure have been linked to improved mood, increased dopamine, and reduced stress. These cues signal renewal to the brain and can help restore energy, motivation, and emotional well-being.

Spring doesn’t just change the landscape.
It changes us.

Today’s invitation:
Let yourself notice what is coming alive again.

🌱 Step outside. Listen for the birds. Look for signs of growth.
Joy is often hiding in the small returns.

💬 Engage:
Can you spot the nest from last year?
What’s your favorite sign that spring is finally here?
Tag me or send a photo of what you’re noticing in nature — let’s celebrate the season waking up together.

One More Youth Yoga & Mindfulness Class in Big Piney for the School Year 🌿

Our final FREE Youth Yoga & Mindfulness class in Big Piney is this Friday, May 1st—and I’d love to see your kiddos there!

This season has been a beautiful reminder of what community support can do. Thanks to generous sponsors and welcoming partnerships, we’ve been able to offer youth ages 0–5, elementary, and teens tools for movement, mindfulness, emotional awareness, and resilience.

Helping kids learn to pause, breathe, and navigate big feelings with more confidence is work that means so much to me.

I’m already excited to bring this program back for the 2026–2027 school year!

🌱 I’m also beginning to seek sponsors for next year’s youth programming. If supporting youth mental health and wellness is something you care about, I’d love to connect.

Thank you, Big Piney, for being part of this community effort 🤍

Mantra Monday 🌿
Difficult times can grow strong roots.

Not every challenge arrives to break us. Sometimes the difficult seasons are where resilience quietly takes hold, where patience deepens, boundaries strengthen, and trust in ourselves begins to grow.

You may not see the roots forming yet, but that doesn’t mean growth isn’t happening.

✨ Save this as a grounding reminder for your week.

What if this in-between season is harder than we talk about? 🌱

As winter fades and spring slowly unfolds,
there can be a quiet heaviness many people don’t expect.

Longer days… but not quite relief.
More light… but not always more ease.

Research shows that su***de rates often rise in spring and early summer—
a pattern seen globally, even as the world becomes brighter.

And here in our small, rural Wyoming communities,
this stretched, muddy, in-between season can feel especially isolating.

You are not alone if this time of year feels hard.

Nature reminds us that transition isn’t always comfortable—
but it is part of the process.

And you don’t have to move through it alone.

✨ Science note:
Studies show that time in nature can reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, lower stress hormones, and support nervous system regulation. Social connection is one of the strongest protective factors for mental health, helping buffer stress and increase feelings of safety and belonging.

Even small moments—
a walk outside, a shared conversation, a breath of fresh air—
can begin to shift how we feel.

Today’s invitation:
Reach for a little light, even if it feels far away.

🌱 Step outside.
Text a friend.
Sit in the sun.
Let something small support you.

If you or someone you know is struggling, you can call or text 988 (Su***de & Crisis Lifeline) any time in the U.S. — you don’t have to wait until things feel unbearable.

💬 Engage:
What helps you feel a little more grounded during this season?
Your share might be exactly what someone else needs to hear.

What if gratitude for the Earth looked like action? 🌎🌿

The trails we walk.
The air we breathe.
The quiet moments that steady us when life feels like too much.

Nature gives—constantly, quietly, without asking.

On days like Earth Day,
we’re reminded just how much we receive.

But gratitude doesn’t have to be big to matter.

It can look like a small pause.
A moment of care.
A simple choice to give something back.

✨ Science note:
Spending time in nature and practicing gratitude are both linked to improved mental health, reduced stress, and increased feelings of connection and well-being. When we pair appreciation with action, it strengthens our sense of purpose and belonging.

Today’s invitation:
Say thank you in a way the Earth can feel.

🌱 Pick up a few pieces of trash.
🌱 Leave a place better than you found it.
🌱 Reach out to support the protection of public lands.

Small actions, multiplied, create meaningful change.

💬 Engage:
How are you giving back to the Earth today?
Tag me or send a photo — let’s inspire each other to care for what cares for us.

Our Final Youth Yoga & Mindfulness Classes of the School Year🌿

As we wrap up this season, my heart is full of gratitude for this community.

Because of local sponsors, partnerships, and support, we were able to offer FREE youth yoga and mindfulness classes to children across Sublette County—serving ages 0–5, elementary, and teens. Together, we created spaces where kids could build self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience to better meet the challenges of today’s world.

A huge thank you to our partnership with the Sublette County Libraries and the incredible librarians who welcomed us so warmly and helped create such a safe, supportive environment for these classes to grow.

✨ Final classes:
📍 Pinedale – This Tuesday 4/21
📍 Big Piney – Next Friday 5/1

This truly has been a community effort, and it’s been an honor to work with your children. I’m already looking forward to bringing this program back in the fall.

🌱 If you believe in supporting youth mental health, mindfulness, and accessible wellness, we are currently seeking sponsors for next year’s program. Please reach out if you’d like to be part of continuing this impact.

Thank you for showing what’s possible when a community comes together.
