Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 13th, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 1567 Garbry Road, Piqua, OH 45356! Registration starts at 11:30 AM — and best of all, entry is FREE!

Join us rain or shine for a fantastic day featuring a variety of classic and modern cars, food, music, games, and a raffle with proceeds supporting the Alzheimer’s Association. Enjoy dash plaques for all registered participants and cheer on your favorites for People’s Choice trophies and prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

🌟 What an amazing day at the Miami County Mental Health and Community Resource Fair! 🌟

Held at the beautiful Miami County Courthouse, we were proud to be one of 95 vendors sharing resources and services with the hundreds of residents who attended. An entire street was even blocked off for food trucks and mobile units from the Troy Library, JFS, OOD, and Clothes That Work! 🍴📚

Our favorite attendee? 🐾 Minnie Pearl the service dog — her little hat made everyone smile! 💕

This was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community and share more about HCF and the wide range of services we offer here in Miami County. We can’t wait to be back next year! 🙌

This week, Ms. Kirby received her White Coat from the University of Toledo Nursing School! She has been with us all summer as an aide, and now she’s continuing her journey toward an amazing nursing career. 💙

Construction is officially underway on our new expansion, which will add 15 additional memory care apartments to our community. When completed in 2026, Garbry Ridge will feature 30 memory care apartments alongside our current assisted living apartments.

We had a fantastic time at Senior Day during the Miami County Fair! ☀️ Although the weather was a bit hot, we were thrilled to see such large crowds throughout the day. We kicked things off with a delicious biscuits-and-gravy brunch, then headed to the grandstand for the Health Fair. The highlight of the afternoon was honoring the Miami County Veterans with their incredible ceremony, followed by a special meal for Veterans and their families. It was truly a wonderful day—thank you to everyone who came out and spent time with us!

🎉 Meet Idonna F.! A beloved Garbry Ridge resident and proud mother of four boys, including her son Kim, who works in our Maintenance Department. Known for her incredible cooking and baking skills, Idonna has shared a lifetime of love and care with those around her. She recently celebrated her 100th birthday! 🥳 She enjoys bingo-style games and can often be found walking with Kim 3–4 times a week, doing several laps around the building. Here’s to Idonna—an inspiration to us all! 💙
