We had a wonderful Lunch & Learn today with an amazing meal provided by Chef Ivan and an engaging discussion on How to Avoid Utility Scams. Amy Carles, Senior Outreach Specialist with the Office of the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel, shared valuable information and practical takeaways for everyone. We truly appreciated her presentation and learned so much about utility safety and the unfortunate scams that happen through imposters.

🍬 More Sweet Moments from Garbry’s Trick-or-Treat! 🎃

We loved seeing all the adorable trick-or-treaters who stopped by — every costume was cute, and every smile was even sweeter! 🧡👻

Our residents and staff had such a wonderful time handing out treats and visiting with everyone. Thank you to all who participated and helped make this event so special. We can’t wait to see you again next year! 🍭✨

🦉 We had a wonderful visit from our friends at Brukner Nature Center for their Senior Scientist Program all about birds! 🐦✨

This unique program offers seniors an engaging, nature-oriented experience that includes live wildlife talks, hands-on activities, and fascinating video presentations. Our session featured a short introduction, an informative 45-minute lesson, and a fun “Educator Chat” where staff answered questions and connected with our residents.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the visit and learning more about our feathered friends! 💚🌿
