I am a mother of 6 grown children. I have a passion for supporting women and young families as they transition to the road of parenting. I’m excited to be certified as a labor doula by ProDoula, one of the most respected birth worker organizations in the country.
Having experienced a variety of birth settings, always with my husband and trusted women friends at my side, I hope to provide others with the encouragement and continuous personal support that I received throughout my own labors and deliveries.
My faith in Jesus and His love for me informs my professional work ethic, how I provide care for others, and how I approach life’s ups and downs. I have over 23 years of experience coming alongside women and families on their journey of life, faith and parenting. I especially love talking about newborn sleep training and parenting strategies for the early years.
I trained as a nurse at Indiana University and received a BSN in 1995. I have 14 years of experience in geriatric nursing.
