🎲 Simple games like rolling a ball, building a block tower, or playing board games give kids a fun way to practice waiting their turn and sharing the activity!

🗣️ Narrating whose turn it is helps reinforce the concept and encourages use of pronouns!

Toy of the Week: Pots of Gold 💛🌈🍀

This simple toy is a pot of possibilities in therapy and at home! Swipe through to learn some easy ways we use them to build important skills!

Speech and Language: practice new vocabulary, requesting, asking questions, counting and simple phrases!

Fine Motor: pick up and drop coins to work on finger strength, grasp and hand eye coordination! Add tongs for an extra challenge!

Visual Motor: match coins by color, follow simple patterns, aim to drop coins in the pot!

Play based activities like this help kids build skills while having fun!

Our kids are exploring fun books, language activities, and sensory play with gold coins, rainbows, shamrocks and more! Maybe even a leprechaun stopped by!?

Roar into a new week! 🦖🦕

We’re saying goodbye to all the hearts and hugs from our Valentine’s week and stomping into DINOSAUR WEEK!

Our therapists will be digging into:
👐 Sensory play (fossil bins & dino tracks)
✍️ Fine motor skills (cracking eggs in& tiny tools)
👀 Visual motor activities (matching, tracing & building)
💬 Speech & language (dino sounds, story telling, answering questions, new vocabulary & more)

We can’t wait to see our little explorers learn, play, and grow together!

☀️Fun Fridays are here! ☀️

We had our first Fun Friday last week and it was a blast! Our group was packed with movement, creativity and connection! The first theme was bugs!

Our kids enjoyed an engaging story time 📖, played a fun group game🎲, got hands on with a colorful craft🎨, and wrapped it up with some fun gross motor play!

While we were having so much fun, we also addressed answering questions, attending to an activity, expanding utterances, vocabulary, turn taking, social skills, sensory and fine motor skills!

We are so excited for our next group on June 6th and cannot wait to see you there! Sign ups will be sent out soon! Questions? Ask your child’s therapist!
