We live in a culture that celebrates being busy… but busy isn’t the same as being alive.

If you’ve been running on autopilot, here are 5 simple ways to invite more presence into your day (each one takes just a few minutes):

Intentional pause → Put your phone down and take 2 minutes in silence. Notice how your body feels when you stop.

Sense check → Ask yourself: What can I see, hear, smell, or touch right now? Your senses are anchors to the present moment.

Micro-joys → Savor one tiny thing: your coffee, a song, or sunlight on your desk. Small joys are fuel.

Breath awareness → Breathe in for 4, out for 6. Your nervous system resets faster than you think.

Gratitude check → Write down one thing you’re thankful for today. Gratitude shifts your energy immediately.

Here are 3 simple ways to reset your energy in just 60 seconds:

> Breathe in fours: A calming pattern to slow down your nervous system.
> Hand-to-heart: Place your palm on your chest and let your heartbeat remind you you're here.
> Look up: Shifting your gaze helps reset your focus and release tension.

These may feel small, but they send powerful signals of safety to your body. The more often you use them, the quicker your mind learns to return to calm.

A powerful way to start your Monday is by checking in with this question. When we ignore our inner truth, it shows up as stress, overwhelm, or even burnout. Today, try these small resets:

> Pause for one mindful breath before making a decision
> Notice if your body feels tense when you say "yes" to something
> Give yourself permission to choose what feels aligned, not what feels expected
> Write down one thing you want to honor about yourself this week

Your nervous system always knows when you're out of alignment. Listen to it, and it will guide you back to balance.
