A little about our new doctor:

Dr. Altavilla is a Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate and a local to the South Hills area. He graduated from Baldwin High School before attending Mercyhurst University where he played football and graduated with his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science. While at Mercyhurst University he had numerous Strength and Conditioning internships with Mercyhurst University Athletics, Robert Morris University Athletics, and at local gyms with everyday fitness enthusiasts.

He later went out to pursue his dream of becoming a chiropractor like Dr. Ruscitto at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Outside of his rigorous academic schedule at Palmer, he taught adult group fitness, youth sports performance, and private training. Dr. Altavilla returned home earlier this year and completed his preceptorship at our office. He has since graduated and is ready to begin providing great care and knowledge to the surrounding community to help them achieve their goals.

Dr. Altavilla utilizes various therapies during treatment including spinal and extremity adjusting, fascial and soft tissue techniques, and corrective exercise.

We would like you all to wish him a warm welcome to our practice!
