We've been busy here at AIO/OCLI! First and foremost, we celebrated National Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) week this week! CRNA week is observed to recognize CRNAs for the outstanding care they give to each patient in every environment they work in!

We are incredibly grateful for our CRNAs' expertise in providing safe, high-quality service to our patients, your work is critical to our surgery center! Each of you has a way of communicating with patients making them feel comfortable and knowing they are your top priority. Please join us in thanking our CRNAs for their hard work and dedication!

Second, but certainly not forgotten, we also enjoyed our Holiday party last week and celebrated our January birthdays with a sweet treat in each of our open clinics today!

We have been busy celebrating the holidays here at AIO/OCLI! We have been making ornaments throughout the week for our offices, we took a break at the end of the day on Tuesday to play a few "minute to win it" games for prizes, we had a day to show off our favorite Christmas sweaters, enjoyed a popcorn bar, and a sweet treat to finish out the week! We hope you all enjoy time with your families and friends over the holidays 🎄🎁🎀

Last week we celebrated our Ophthalmic Personnel! We wanted to take a moment to thank our professionally trained and dedicated ophthalmic staff members! AIO/OCLI wouldn’t be able to do what we do without all of you working together! Our first-rate standards are upheld by our team members day in and day out. Our skilled technicians assist our board-certified ophthalmologists and optometrists with many tests, measurements and scans during eye exams to diagnose and treat patients.

And we want to acknowledge our patient services and administrative team members as well! Our front desk staff, phone room counselors, surgery schedulers, research team and finance department all play a significant role in our daily functions helping to ensure our patients are educated and understand what to expect.

To celebrate we had some fun activities throughout the week last week!
• Monday we had a coffee, tea and hot chocolate bar in all open offices
• Tuesday we had a scavenger hunt in each location and a guess how many M&M challenge! Winners received gift cards, lottery tickets and of course, M&Ms
• Wednesday all Ophthalmic Personnel received lottery tickets
• Thursday we awarded 4 employees with 4 hours of PTO and we had a team happy hour at Hofbräuhaus and Pins Mechanical in the Southside
• Friday was wear your wacky socks to work day to be entered to win a head-to-toe gift basket and we had pizza provided to all open offices
