Uniquely the Same

Assisting those affected by disability or economic disadvantage in order to improve the quality of life for all. Who are we at "Uniquely the Same"?

In spite of currently available services for those affected by disability and those with economic disadvantage, needs are still not being met. Because of the unique circumstances of some individuals, the most fundamental components of self-actualized lives are often the most difficult to obtain: housing, employment, transportation, community participation and access to medical resources. Frequently, what we hear from the people we serve is that their greatest need is for real friendship - for someone to come alongside the lives of families affected by disability and economic disadvantage and give them practical assistance in confronting the hurdles they face. So, Uniquely the Same has been established in order to encourage intentional, loving solutions to obtaining the basic components required so that all people can pursue a high quality of life.

Vendor Spotlight: Crooked Creek Distillery
Stop by their booth this Saturday from nine to noon at the Monroeville Lions Farmers Market.

They have been voted as the Best Distillery in Westmoreland County three years running (2022–2024) and are winners of the 2019 Whiskey Smash People’s Choice Award.
