Scientists captured an image showing when human life may begin. 🧬

Researchers studying early human development recently identified a key moment sometimes described as a “second zero.” This stage refers to the point when an embryo begins activating its own genetic instructions after fertilization.

During the earliest stages of development, an embryo initially relies on genetic material from the parents. After a short time, the embryo’s own genes begin guiding growth and development.

Scientists say understanding this stage may help improve fertility treatments and deepen knowledge about human biology. Discoveries like this continue to reveal how complex life is from its very first moments.
