During this Firefly Chat, a parent caregiver and a hospice social worker will discuss the emotional, spiritual, physical and logistical challenges caregivers encounter every day. Information will be shared about creating a network of support to help improve quality of life and bring joy to the child and family. In addition, the presenters will highlight resources and share tips for families striving to create a nurturing and inclusive home environment.

This Chat - ‍"Bridging Language Gaps: Effective Support for Non-English Speaking Families" - will focus on ‍working with non-English speaking families in palliative care settings. These families require compassion, cultural sensitivity and a communication centered approach.
