Everyone is invited to join us for free coffee and donuts during drop-in office hours with Kayla & Jamie! Stop by to chat, ask questions, or just connect. We’ll also be opening our doors to collect canned goods and shelf-stable food items for ICCAP (Indiana County Community Action Program, Inc), so feel free to bring a can of soup or something to share. Come for the treats, stay for the conversation, and help support our community!

This event is open to all individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism, along with their caregivers. Come join us for a night of fun, connection, and community.

Will you help us host a Community Blood Drive? As part of our commitment to giving back, we’re planning a blood drive—and we need YOUR help to make it a success!

Our organization and groups like Self-Advocacy and Team Friends are built on the values of inclusion, compassion, and community. Hosting a blood drive is another way we can lead by example—showing that when we come together, we can make a difference beyond our own circle. This effort reflects who we are: a group that cares deeply for others and takes action to create a brighter, healthier future for everyone.

We had such a fun time tonight at our Night at the Library event! 📚✨ It was the perfect evening to enjoy a smaller group setting, take a tour of the library, do a craft, share a meal together, shop the book sale, and even play a few board games.
It’s always so special to spend time together out in the community, building connections and making memories. 💛

📣 Attention TEAM FRIENDS! Get ready to mark your calendars — we have an exciting lineup of events for the rest of the 2025 season!

We’ll kick things off with our LIVE MUSIC & Basket Raffle Fundraiser on Thursday, August 28th at the West Kittanning Fire Hall. Basket raffles will be open to the public earlier in the day from 11am–4pm, so be sure to tell your family, friends, and coworkers to stop by and show their support. Then, from 5:30–7:30pm, join us for dinner, music, and fun with friends! Admission is $10 per person, basket raffle tickets are $10 per sheet, and 50/50 tickets will be $1 each. Don’t forget to dress as your favorite music genre or artist!

Next, on Tuesday, September 23rd, we’ll be teaming up with Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties for a multi-county fundraising banquet at Narcissi Winery. This will be a very special evening, and we’d love for you to be part of it! Visit www.teamfriends.org/tickets for more details.

October brings an epic Costume Party on Tuesday, October 28th at the Kittanning Twp Fire Hall on 422. DJ Ryan will keep the party going, and pizza and drinks will be provided. Admission is just $5 per person, and we encourage everyone to bring a side dish to share. Come dressed in your spookiest, funniest, or most creative costume — it’s going to be a blast!

In November, Armstrong and Indiana Counties will stick together again for something new — Music Bingo & Snacksgiving! This festive night will take place on Tuesday, November 25th at the Kittanning Twp Fire Hall on 422. Admission is $5 per person, and we’ll provide the fall drinks. You bring a snack to share, and together we’ll celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday with laughter, music, and prizes.

Finally, we’ll wrap up the 2025 season with a magical Dance & Photos with Mr. & Mrs. Claus on Thursday, December 11th at the West Kittanning Fire Hall. Admission is $5 per person, and we’ll provide cookies and cocoa while you bring your favorite holiday treats to share. Dress your holiday best or show off your ugliest sweater for an unforgettable night with friends!

Most events do not require an RSVP (please carefully read individual flyers), and we encourage both Armstrong and Indiana Counties to come out and celebrate together. Let’s make the rest of 2025 full of fun, friendship, and unforgettable memories!
