Martha Petersen has been involved in spiritual development her whole life, as all of us have. She has studied and practiced astrology, Tarot, the I Ching, Native American medicine, herbs, dream analysis, aura reading and healing. Martha was a lay midwife in the San Luis Valley of Colorado doing home births before becoming a Physician Assistant. As a PA she worked in allopathic medicine in women’s health, surgery and oncology. She received her Masters of Public Health in 2000 and became an Assistant Professor in the Physician Assistant Department at Duquesne University, the Academic Coordinator at University of Pittsburgh and founding Associate and Academic Director of the University of Bridgeport Physician Assistant Institute in 2009. UB offers degrees in Naturopathic, Acupuncture, Chiropractic medicine as well as Nutrition, allowing Martha to fulfill a lifelong dream of teaching true Integrative Medicine: Evidence based Alternative, Complementary and Allopathic medicine. Before retiring from PA education Martha returned to studying mediumship and became certified by Gloria Weichand. Martha offers private, small group and gallery readings.
