Meet HPNA’s Volunteer of the Month: Robert Bennett, PhD, PPCNP-BC, CPNP-AC

Robert has made a significant impact through his volunteer work with HPNA. He currently serves as co-chair of the Research Emerging Scholar Special Interest Group and is an active member of the Research Advisory Committee.

In addition to his leadership roles, Robert has contributed his expertise as a panelist at the Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care (Funding the Future) and during HPNA’s Research Consultation Hours. Last year, he also served as a contributing author for the Third Edition of the Study Guide for the Hospice and Palliative Pediatric Nurse.

Dr. Parajuli is an Assistant Professor of Nursing and Affiliate Faculty in the Gerontology Program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has contributed her time and expertise to several HPNA committees, including the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee and the Research Advisory Committee. She also serves as a co-chair of the HPNA Emerging Scholars Special Interest Group (SIG).
