Hot Take: When it comes to your mother’s hair and makeup preferences, it’s essential to honor her decisions! Mothers of the bride and groom usually have a good idea of what they like. Once you’ve identified your preferred style, why take the risk of a different outcome? As a bridal makeup artist and stylist, we frequently address concerns from MOBs and MOGs regarding potential changes to their appearance. Our goal is to ensure their comfort, even though we enjoy enhancing their beauty, as we did for this pleased MOB!

Here are some strategies we use to alleviate concerns for mothers of the bride and groom. We pay attention to their worries, respect their comfort level, and start with a light approach, focusing on brightening and lifting – as you can always add but not subtract! Additionally, we steer clear of heavy products or powders that may emphasize fine lines.By doing this, we are able to keep the mom’s happy and most importantly our brides-to-be!
