This , we’re helping to raise awareness about sleep health and the impact of untreated sleep disorders.

An estimated 80% of people with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) don’t even know they have it (Punjabi et al., 2008). Left untreated, OSA can increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, and metabolic disorders (Gami et al., 2005; Lavie, 2007), impacting long-term health and daily life.

Here at SomnoMed, we’re committed to increasing access to comfortable, effective OSA therapy - because better sleep leads to better health.

Happy International Women’s Day!

Today, we celebrate the strength, achievements, and contributions of women around the world. The 2025 theme, "Accelerate Action," calls on us to drive real change—especially in women’s health and sleep medicine.

Women are often underdiagnosed and undertreated for a range of health conditions, including sleep disorders. Research shows that:

- Sleep quality fluctuates with hormonal changes—the premenstrual phase, perimenopause, and menopause are all linked to sleep disturbances.

- Medical research has historically overlooked women's health, with conditions like menstrual disorders receiving less attention than other health concerns.

- Sleep tracking technology is helping bridge the gap by allowing women to monitor hormonal fluctuations and improve their sleep patterns.

At SomnoMed, we believe that accelerating action means advocating for more inclusive research in sleep medicine and beyond, closing the gaps in women’s health by increasing awareness and access to treatment, and empowering women with knowledge to improve their sleep and overall well-being.

Together, we can for women’s health and better sleep for all.

Today, on , we recognize the dedication of dental professionals—not only in maintaining oral health but also in helping patients breathe and sleep better.

Did you know that dentists can play a critical role in the screening, diagnosing, and treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)? For eligible patients, Mandibular Advancement Devices (MADs) can be a comfortable and non-invasive treatment option, and they also serve as an effective alternative* for those who struggle with CPAP therapy.

At SomnoMed, we're proud to support dentists in enhancing patient care with our premium oral devices. Today and every day, we celebrate and thank dentists for their dedication to making a meaningful impact on their patients’ overall well-being.

Have you thanked your dentist today?
