As I walked up and down these stairs, surrounded by shelves lined with stories…
I was struck by the quiet magic of this bookstore.

Each book, a doorway into someone’s heart.
Each page, proof that someone dared to write, to dream, to believe their voice mattered.

I thought of the authors who found the courage to share their truth.
The publishers who believed in an idea.
And the readers—like me—who open these pages hoping to be inspired, transported, or simply reminded that we’re not alone.

There’s something sacred about this kind of stillness.
Something profound in honoring the journeys, the voices, and the visions held within these covers.

These moments are gentle but powerful.

“I can’t believe the year is almost over…” That’s what I kept hearing during coffee chats this past week…with friends, fellow entrepreneurs, and clients.

And as we sipped coffee and reflected on the year, here’s what I noticed:

Many said 2025 was actually a pretty good year But they wished they had better systems in place to get things done

Most weekends, you’ll find me with clients, leading workshops, or attending events that light me up from the inside out.

But this past weekend looked a little different.

Saturday was a deep-dive, behind-the-scenes kind of day: reconciling my books in QuickBooks and facing, line by line, what this year has held.

And let me tell you… what looked like black-and-white numbers on a screen?

Felt like a full technicolor movie of memories, milestones, and moments that mattered. ♥️

Each transaction told a story:
✨ A new client saying yes
✨ A returning client re-signing
✨ A paid workshop or corporate event booked
✨ The cost of that new instrument or branded flyer
✨ A mentorship program that challenged and elevated me
✨ Flights to deserts and mountains where I got to do this work with amazing people.

2025 has been a full year.
And we’re not even done yet. 🔥

When I saw the numbers from my mini-launches, my 1:1 renewals, the DMs and emails and receipts tied to REAL people whose lives are being impacted through this work… my eyes welled up. 🥹

Because this path?
It chooses you first.

And then, day after day, choice after choice—you keep choosing it back.
You choose it on the quiet mornings.
You choose it on the slow sales days.
You choose it when no one’s clapping.

And on Sunday, I got to pause and let it all land.

To most, this might just look like a simple win. A business owner scheduling some posts through Thanksgiving weekend.
👏🏽 Yay, right?

But to me, and to HER, it’s so much more than that.

Because four months ago, she had never scheduled a post in her life.

She didn’t know how to use Meta Business Suite.

She didn’t know how to structure a caption that would connect.

She wasn’t sure how to translate her voice into consistent, meaningful content that could still feel like her.

But what she DID know how to do was show up.

She was already going live every week…
pouring her joy, wisdom, and heart into her audience.

What she lacked wasn’t discipline.
It was structure.
A system.
A rhythm.

A few days ago, I received news that made the world go quiet.

My dear friend, the kind of woman whose joy could fill a room, whose laugh could crack you open, and whose heart truly saw people had suddenly passed.

We met 16 years ago in New York, and from the very beginning, she embraced me with grace, warmth, and unwavering faith.

She was brilliant, oh yes. A scientist with multiple degrees and a mind that lit up every conversation.
But what I’ll always remember is how she loved.

Freely. Generously. Boldly.
She loved strangers. She loved her community. She loved God. She loved her future before it even arrived.

Damaris didn’t wait for her dreams to happen.
She showed up for them.
She believed they were possible.
And she lived with no regrets.

And so when I heard the news of her passing, the first memory that came to me wasn’t sadness it was her laughter.

Loud. Contagious. Full of life.

And then came the memories of how she always reminded me to stay the course.
To trust the vision even when I couldn’t see the next step.
To believe that faith is enough to move forward.

These past few days, I’ve sat in a deeper stillness than I’ve known in a while.

Not because of grief alone but because of clarity.

Clarity about the kind of life I want to live.
The kind of legacy I want to leave.
The kind of impact I want to support my clients in creating through their voice, their story, their work.

She lived her purpose with everything she had.

And I’m committed to helping more women do the same.

Because the world doesn’t need more noise.
It needs more meaningful lives.
More courage.
More joy.
More stories like hers.
