We all experience stress in life, some more than others. Stress can be the good, motivating kind, like studying for an exam or preparing for an important interview. But it can also be not so good, like experiencing trauma or loss or consistent life challenging situations that threaten your livelihood. Managing your stress through proven strategies that work for you is extremely important. Long term stress contributes to so many other consequences that negatively impact your physical, emotional and mental health. This ultimately affecting your relationships and work. One way to manage stress is to adopt a regular meditation practice. Meditation is a type of Mind-Body therapy that has been practiced for years. There are many types of meditation, all producing a deeper state of relaxation and tranquility. Even just two minutes of listening to your own breath with closed eyes can get you through a fight or flight moment in your brain during a stressful moment or can result in a better rest of your day after a yoga class. Types of meditation include yoga, guided meditation, mantra meditation, qi gong, transcendental meditation, and mindfulness meditation. Give it a try! You are worth the effort!! 🥰🙏
