Our new playroom in our Provo office is set up and ready for sessions! We have a few openings for new clients for individual services including child centered play therapy, AutPlay and Mendability sensory enrichment therapy. We also still have a couple openings in our social play group on Wednesday from 1-3 PM for children from 3-6 years of age.

I am going to be offering integrative playgroups for children from 3-6 years, a weekly group for children 3-12 years and a monthly parent/child playgroup for ages 1-6. These groups are offered in a play-centric, child guided environment and are focused on providing opportunities for creative expression, sensory enrichment, naturalistic exploration and social emotional engagement. These groups are offered as a service to the community and don’t have a set fee, though donations are welcome. You can sign up for a single group or multiple groups according to your individual needs.

Groups are held in my home in Orem. To register please DM or text me at 801-636-5617 with your child’s name and date of birth.

*Please note as these are not regularly scheduled class sessions we are legally license exempt. As a group leader with a background in early education and play therapy I do have extensive qualifications and a background check. These groups are not intended to be therapeutic in nature, though since child-guided play is inherently therapeutic it’s likely to have positive impact.
There are cats in the home, so please be aware if allergies are an issue.

Our littles have been enjoying the opportunity to explore autumn harvest and cultural celebrations . We’ve seen some wonderful exploration with these open ended “loose parts” and heuristic “treasure baskets” provide so many opportunities for open ended learning! Our emphasis in these provocations centers around creative expression, sensory enrichment, naturalistic exploration and social emotional engagement . We see so much creative play when we provide these unique opportunities to learn about our world!

Our classroom is set up and ready for our Discovery Kids this week with invitations to play that encourage active exploration of topics such as weather, transportation and emotions! We are so excited to see what paths our little learners choose to take this week!

We are still enrolling! We have two full time infant spots and limited part time/flex schedule openings for children under two, three full time spots and limited flex spots for 2 year olds and several spots in our Sprouts Playschool and Blossoms microschool for both part time and full time programming.

Discovery kids Playschool still has space available for all ages including infants and toddlers! We offer flexible scheduling with half day or full day options from 1-5 days per week. We are fully licensed and accept DWS subsidy, ELE families receive a 20% discount.

Our unique, play-centric program focuses heavily on sensory enrichment, creative expression, naturalistic explorations and social emotional engagement. Our “please touch” environment provides multiple indoor and outdoor spaces for hands-on play including our nature playground and outdoor classroom. Teachers are trained in responsive caregiving and positive discipline techniques. Onsite mental health therapy , developmental therapies and cognitive tutoring are available.
