Attention Mend customers, it is with deep regret that I inform you that I will be closing down my business as of 3/31. Unfortunately with so many changes in my personal life over the past year, plus, with the weight loss medications not going to be as readily available from several compounds due to very recent court proceedings and battle with big pharma, I feel that this is the best option at this time. I will be filling medications until 3/31 for current Mend customers only.

Attention Mend customers: with the delay, as of last Friday some of the orders did begin to ship. They are filling a couple per day and there is no rhyme or reason to the order of fill.

Nonetheless, I have now established accounts with 2 new compounds as well. The shipping is supposed to be very quick turn around with these compounds. This was done to mitigate these issues for the future.

I apologize for these issues as the depth wasn’t even accurately conveyed to me. The above is the actions I have taken for prevention for the future.

Please note, I am doing my best to keep up with the correspondence as I get these things sent to me with tracking and so forth as they send them. I understand the frustration and reciprocate the irritation with the delays. However, I am getting calls, emails, messages via Facebook, via square and also texts and multiple daily. To keep everyone straight, and provide updates it has been a challenge for me as I was given the same messages from the pharmacy so there was nothing to report. I will message you once the orders ship. I am pulling some orders and filling with the new pharmacies.
At this time, I will not be taking new consults through the rest of 2024. For those interested in an appointment, please email requesting an appointment to mendhealthcaresolutions@gmail.com and I will reach out to schedule an appointment.

Attention Mend customers, several orders have been placed over these past couple of weeks and I am getting several requests for follow up of status of these orders. I have spoke w the pharmacy twice this week, confirming orders have been received but because of the week they didn’t take orders while they transitioned to the new system, they are back logged and it is taking 10-15 business days to process orders. I will send tracking once l have it, if you have placed an order, but unfortunately this is all I know at this time.

Attention Mend Customers. Just an FYI- At this time, until next week, I can’t place orders for semaglutide/ B12 or see the status of your order if your waiting as the compound pharmacy is undergoing changes to their RX system. I just found out this information today, and I unfortunately can’t provide updates during this time the previously placed orders. They have assured me that the process for the orders that were previously placed will not hault, but those that are requesting refills, new orders placed etc will not be able to be done until Monday. Thanks for your understanding.

Attention Mend customers!!! I figured I would share an update and some announcements as I haven’t updated in a while! Nonetheless, I appreciate patience in response and also your continued support of my small business. This year has been throwing me lots of curveballs in my personal life and professional life. With these changes, I have made the decision to accept a new full time position/ role that will help me to free up more time to be at Mend, grow Mend, increase appointment times etc. Over the next 2 months, appointment times will remain limited as I finish out my resignation period. However, come November, I will have more availability opening up! I am working on a 2025 business plan which will include bringing on another provider or two, integrating self pay labs, direct primary care, women’s health hormones, and also injectable and by mouth peptides!

I know my responsiveness hasn’t been great lately, and there have been so many moving parts personally and professionally so this has come with a lot of reflection of my vision of how to best serve my Mend clients.

These will be wonderful changes as our services will be expanding, but in the mean time, appointment times may be fairly limited until November.

Growth/ interest at a rate that I have had over the past 9 months was not expected, and especially at a time where life has hit some speed bumps. I am forever thankful for your trust, your continued support and I look forward to not only being able to increase access soon, but also services that I can offer you all ❤️

Attention Mend customers: if you have reached out for an appointment I am slowly getting through my calls, messages, texts etc. the out pouring of clientele and interest has been fascinating but due to some personal circumstances lately, it has affected my availability and etc. I am working to reach out/ contact each one of you by the end of the week to get scheduled should you still desire.

Happy New Year to our Mend customers and followers!

It is no secret that I have not been a good marketer or really good at this social media business, nonetheless, business still continued to grow by simple word of mouth! I appreciate you all for sure!

This year, I will be focusing on extending to different areas of the business. Initially, planned to add women’s health hormones in the fall and then life happened. It is imperative that I feel confident and comfortable with the advice and individual plans that I offer for you. This is not just a simple thing to add on to the business, and if I am going to do it, I want it done right. I appreciate you hanging in there with me!

Other services that I plan to begin to offer more of, Peptides. These services will probably be released simultaneously. I will notify you all via social media one month prior to the launch date for you to schedule an appointment.

Further, looking at extending other weight loss options too.

Who knows where the next 12 months will take our little business, but what I do know is how thankful I am for those who have been supporting us over the last 2 years.

Happy Fall Sunday folks! Hard to believe we are getting to the time of year for the intermittent need of sweatshirts and etc.

I am getting several calls a week about the weight loss process, so I figured I would post about that for those whom are new!

I do require a consult. This consult is $100 but will occasionally go on sale throughout the year for a short period of time.

During the consult, we go over all information I feel you need, all information that you desire. We reflect on your weight journey and try to identify areas for improvement. We will also go over the lot about the medication, process of ordering, and finally, whether you are a candidate. Not everyone is a candidate. I can not tell you if you are a candidate before the consult. This requires current weight, knowing medical history and so forth to make these decisions.

Also, things to know: I don’t take insurance, I don’t have products for weight loss in my office, and finally, this is not my full time job. I do work a different full time position and do this only on the side. I also have a family and so I cannot always be flexible around your schedule. Appointments can be done virtually through the medical record system (which is HIPPA complaint) or we have an suite in Shear Gallery in Pleasant Hill to meet in person. Finally, if you call and leave a voice message, I will get back to you but sometimes the easiest and fastest way for me to respond is via text or email. I will still respond to calls, but it may take a little longer 😊 lastly, I’m not technology savvy- so these cool social media posts from other companies, they probably won’t be coming from me any time in the near future 🤪

I hope that this clears up some of the questions some may have on how our process works at Mend! Happy to have some new faces following a long with us!

Reminder Mend customers, due some delayed travel plans, we will be out of the office officially tomorrow morning. With that said- I will be respond to messages for just 1/2 a day today (until 1 pm) to allow time to get gone final preparations for our trip. If you reach out next week, I will not guarantee to respond to messages until 8/15. If you have paid your invoice, all orders have been placed. If they are pending and you want to proceed with your order, please pay by 1 pm to ensure that order gets placed this week!

This week is a big week for Mend! We are going to be participating in our first large event for IV infusions: The TBA World Mauy Tai Expo, which is 4 days worth of Mauy Tai fights 🥊 ! If your in the Des Moines area and appreciate fights, this is an event that you DON’T want to miss! 🎟️ available at the door!!

We will be getting back to messages early this week and setting up appointments for next week. Additionally, Brach is working as a medical provider for the fights each day and infusing at night! Needless to say, we will be staying very busy! Happy Sunday everyone!!! I know I have been a little absent in my posts lately, but that is for good reason! So many wonderful things happening at Mend! First, a beautiful new space as pictured below! Second, expansion of services! I have already mentioned women’s health hormones will be coming Fall of 2023! However, what I haven’t mentioned is that Brach is also undergoing classes for Peptide treatment and also to become a functional nutrition informed professional and obtaining a certification for that! What does that mean? These will be all natural options through FOOD and amino acids to help with all sorts of health issues (ie. inflammation, weight, skin, hair & nails, fatigue, sleep and sooooo much more!).

At Mend, Brach is doing her very best to expand her knowledge in more functional medicine options as she is very passionate about this and has always had the goal to have a healthy combination of Eastern and Western medicine!

So many wonderful things yet to come ❤️ we appreciate your continued support of our “small clinic aiming to make a huge impact”!
