To celebrate Sylvester M. Carnevale's vibrant life and legacy, funeral services will be held at Hurley Funeral Home tomorrow, Sunday, November 23, 2025, starting with a visitation from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm with a funeral service at 2:30 pm. Services will conclude at the end of visitation.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in honor of Sylvester to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org

For your security and safety, please DO NOT click on any links provided by individuals.

Here at Hurley Funeral Home we no longer livestream therefore we will not be posting any type of livestreaming links.

We do monitor our Facebook, however, there have been a few recently that have gotten by us. If you do see one under the comments, please let us know so we can have it removed.

This is a death notification for the passing of Tomasa "Tommie" Ortiz Olivarri of Jourdanton. She died on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at the age of 88.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am on Monday, December 1, 2025 at St. Matthew Catholic Church with burial at San Jose Cemetery.
