*Time Sensitive* Urgent*

During this incredibly difficult time in our world. Catastrophic injury is still happening to our young adults. One of our very own at Craig Hospital is going through an even tougher time than you could ever imagine and is fighting with his body and mind to recover.

Our teen SCI community is asking from you a simple way to lift his spirits.

With COVID-19 restrictions in place at the hospital, family, friends and most staff are restricted from visiting him.

Everyone is isolated and when you are coming to terms with a life changing injury, well you understand how how difficult it is for a young adult.

If you can find it in your heart to send him words of encouragement, strength, and positivity with bright and fun cards to decorate his room.

I know he will feel the encouragement he needs to KEEP FIGHTING!

Privacy issues I cannot tell you his name and if you’re willing and able to, please send your encouraging words to the TRAC Team Director Danielle Scroggs. She will make sure he receives the greetings.

Thank you very much for considering this request.

Anyone have any leads on a PCA for the TriValley area? We are in Pleasanton. My son is 17 (nearly 18) quad in a manual chair. Senior in high school. This would be our first time hiring someone, looking 2-3 times a week 2-4 hrs. Clean record a must. No prior experience working with Spinal cord injury - we can train. Thanks

It not just the inability to walk and the hidden disabilities that’s devastating, add the constant and continued financial strain — it is enough to weaken the strongest. Support SCI research and programs to bring about change. It could happen to anyone.

This month is spinal cord injury awareness month. My sweet Myles has been on this life changing journey for 2 1/2 years. If you can help him reach his goals, be able to participate in activity based therapy and to take part in spinal cord advancement trials we could use your help. Thank you. The nightmare began on Saturday morning, January 21, 2017; while at a combined school wrestling practice in Abu Dhabi, 9th grader Myles Molnar, suffered a catastrophic spinal injury. He dislocated his C5/C6 disk, resulting in a 50% compression of his spinal cord. The family was fortunate that the...
