Seaside Counseling Services is excited to share space with an area icon for wellness and healing, George Affonso MS, LADC1, CADC. For those of you who aren’t aware of what all of those letters mean—George can help you or someone you love with substance abuse, addiction and recovery. George is someone that you meet and you feel like you have known forever. He has a passion for helping and healing that is unmatched by most in the field. Currently, George has some evening hours and possible weekend availability, which is a rarity for someone of his talent🦄 (Don’t blush George, it is true!).

George is a seasoned therapist, with beliefs centered around treating all three phases of the disease model of addiction. George assists clients in achieving and maintaining long term recovery and personal success. His specialties include personal coaching, general mental health healing, addiction and substance misuse.

Many of his services may be covered by your private healthcare insurance. George also offers private pay for his services on a sliding scale. Please feel free to reach out to George with further questions or to make an appointment via text or voicemail to 781-689-3774.

Surrender to your feelings. Feel how you feel. When you want to avoid something or the feeling is to painful to deal with, it’s a call to action. You need to lean into that feeling, that trouble... figure it out so you really let it go and move on lighter, happier. Vulnerability is STRENGTH. Read this, understand and be better for it!
