I’m working hard on my last batch of grad quilts! While I was piecing one together today, I decided to load and quilt this beauty! I found this quilt top at an antique store and could t leave it behind. It has minor blemishes and no tears or rips. I found a sunny floral print fabric to use in the back and finally started quilting it. I started at 11AM and stopped at 3 to pick up my kiddo from school. I still have two more rows to finish tonight. This quilt will be available for sale next week.

I finished up my donation quilt to the Farrand Elementary Spring picnic! I used donated shirts and some minky scraps for the backing. And because their mascot is a fox, I found the cutest quilting design that I hope the kids will love! Hopefully it helps bring in donations for our kiddos at the school!

I squeezed in a little quilting today for a raffle quilt! I’m donating a Farrand Fox t-shirt quilt to my son’s school raffle for their spring picnic. Hopefully it will help raise money for the kiddos later this month!

I took advantage of yesterdays warm and sunny weather! I found this gorgeous hand sewn quilt top at an antique store and I k ew she needed to be rescued and finished. She got a warm soapy soak in the tub to wash away the musty stinky smell and then she spent a few hours outside soaking in the sun. My plan is to get her loaded onto the long arm and have her quilted in time for my next show!

Hi!
I didn’t realize how long it’s been since I’ve posted an update! We’re so busy in our house. My husband is working overtime, both of my kids have joined travel baseball teams and I’m working my way through my tshirt quilt orders!

I just finished up an order for 5 quilts for a family who lost someone very special to them. I’m so glad I was able to take her shirts and transform them into something that I hope will bring them comfort.

That being said, my spots for graduation quilts are full. I was sick in January and lost out on 3 weeks of work which really put me behind. My first available opening is currently in September.

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful warm weather and I’m going to try my hardest to post more often!

Hi, everyone!
It’s been quiet on my page. I’ve been sick with a terrible head cold since February 19 and it has hit me hard. Today is the first day I’ve been able to put in a full day of work and errands without needing a nap.

I’ve got lots of quilts that need quilting and I’ll be starting on my March orders on Thursday. If you’ve sent me an email, text or message, I’ll be going through those tonight and replying. Thank you so much for your patience!

Here’s a picture of a quilt I finished last week. It was my oldest project. I started this quilt 22 years ago (yikes) so I thought it was time to finally get it completed.

I’m quilting my first customer quilt order for 2026! Trying to get moving on these as quickly as possible. I don’t normally take many orders in January and February because my sewing studio is in my basement and it is freezing down here! Even with space heaters, it’s only about 60-63 degrees so sometimes I’ll bring my work upstairs to the kitchen table to keep warm.
