“When Back Pain Is NOT Normal 🚨”

Most cases can be treated conservatively with the right approach — movement, rehab, and proper care.

But there are times when back pain is a red flag 👇

🔴 Numbness in both legs
🔴 Loss of bladder or bowel control
🔴 Severe trauma (fall, accident, impact)
🔴 Progressive weakness in the legs

These could indicate something more serious that needs immediate medical attention.

Everything else?
✅ Often manageable
✅ Often fixable
✅ Often doesn’t need surgery

The key is getting the right diagnosis and plan.

Low back pain usually isn’t from one single cause — it’s often a mix of stress, load, and muscle imbalance over time.

Common reasons:
 • Prolonged sitting
 • Lifting improperly
 • Weak core or glutes
 • Tight hips
 • Disc or joint irritation
 • Doing too much too fast

Your low back absorbs force all day. When tissues don’t adapt properly to stress, they become irritated.

The good news?
Most low back pain is mechanical and responds very well to the right combination of mobility, stability, strength, and proper load progression.
