Thank you to the New Gretna Vol Fire Company, the Egg Harbor City Fire Department, and the Absecon Fire Department for allowing us to be in your firehouses during the storm. Just like the Galloway Township Fire Department supports us year-round. We are grateful to work alongside professionals who give their time to our communities without being paid. Our patients are grateful, too, that they get into a nice, warm truck!

Public Safety working together for the good of our communities is what makes our communities safe.

❄As the snow continues to fall, we are expecting a switch-over to sleet/rain soon. Township of Galloway Public Works is hard at work clearing the emergency routes for emergency vehicles to pass. Please allow them to do their job and stay off the road.

We are fully staffed across all our municipalities and stand ready when needed.

❄️🚑 WINTER STORM 🚑❄️
Preparations for the pending storm this weekend have been underway for a few days. We have increased staffing, and all municipalities we serve will have an ambulance staged within each municipality for the duration of the storm and until road conditions return to normal. Regardless, response times will be affected during the height of the storm conditions.

Large snow accumulations, extreme cold, and power outages are all possibilities with this storm. We urge the community to take action now to prepare for all scenarios. Rest assured that we have been in communication with officials from all the municipalities we service and everyone is prepared and storm-ready.
