With the confirmed closure of inpatient mental health departments at Woodmont Hospital (University Hospital Tamarac), as well as Doctors Hospital and Mercy Hospital in Miami, effective December 31, many individuals and families are understandably concerned about what comes next.

At Neuro Wellness Centers of America, we want our community to know: you are not alone and care does not end here.

We are here to support continuity of care, provide advanced outpatient mental health services, and help patients, families, and providers navigate next steps during this transition.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Dr. Nolan Williams, visionary neuroscientist, compassionate healer, and the pioneering mind behind SAINT™ (Stanford Accelerated Intelligent Neuromodulation Therapy).
Dr. Williams’s groundbreaking work transformed the field of brain health and gave new hope to countless people living with severe depression. His research and innovation made possible treatments that are changing lives today — including those we are honored to provide at Neuro Wellness Centers of America.
We join the global mental health and neuroscience communities in mourning this tremendous loss and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues, and loved ones. His passion for healing, compassion for others, and belief in recovery will continue to guide our mission every day.
Dr. Williams’s legacy lives on in every life changed through SAINT™ — and in our continued dedication to bringing hope and healing to those who need it most.
