Reasons to hire a Birth Doula: 🤰

1. We provide emotional, physical, and informational support before and during labor

2. We help the laboring mother and their birth partner advocate for themselves during labor.

3. We help create a birth plan that you can confidently discuss with your midwife/OB

4. During labor we help with natural pain relief tactics as well as effective birthing positions.

5. Research shows that having a Birth Doula lowers your chance of having a Cesearean Section.

6. After birth, we help the new parent(s) bond with their baby, lactation help if the new mom desires, and any other small needs.

The optimal time to hire a Doula is between 20-25 weeks, but you can hire one at any time!
