Have you heard this quote from David Lynch?

“Ideas are like fish. If you want to catch the big fish, you’ve got to go deeper.”
He often spoke about Transcendental Meditation and described the source of his creativity as an ocean of pure consciousness.

For him, ideas were not something you force or figure out mentally. They come when you settle deeper within yourself.
