Friends in WA who may or may not be using a Telehealth Substance Use Disorder Care program. Wa, like most states, have chose to cut off all funding to SUD telehealth care. My program is being cut May 24th, some may be cut as soon as April 12th, in this state and others.

In-person care is extremely difficult for some people to maintain, and telehealth care has significantly helped them along their recovery journey. Pair in the fact that on April 1st the DEA also decided to do a massive nationwide cut to medicaid eligibility and coverage, that millions of us will be suffering from already.

We are about to see people likely fall heavily back into street drugs and old vices, because we'd rather only help those with money. Some of these that fall back into their use patterns, especially after 2-3+ years clean, may likely OD. Supporting your friends, family, and even strangers who you know to struggle with SUD or receive on going care despite being years sober, may honestly mean life or death for them. A lot of us will be going into sudden withdrawal from not being able to find in person care to replace our telehealth care, and/or not being able to safely taper down our medications to a safe enough level that our bodies won't go into withdrawal from the halt in medications.

If you're one of the ones who use buprenorphine (Suboxone) or any other partial-op**te medication used for op**te use disorder, suddenly stopping your medication without tapering down to a low enough dose, WILL put you in a month long, at minimum, withdrawal. This can leave you even more susceptible to a significant relapse if you can't find in person care, because this medication is used to help you not go through the already excruciatingly hard to get through one week of withdrawal when suddenly stopping a full op**te. One week of withdrawal is always more appealing than a month long withdrawal when it means not being physically well enough to maintain your sober life and work life....

If you're the type of person that believes they shouldn't have started using in rhe first place, I'd like you to do some heavy research on WHY people actually fall into Substance Use. Because it has nothing to do with "Drugs being cool"...or whatever gross excuse y'all makeup instead of educating yourself, understanding SUD, and finding ways to help people get through it and in turn help reduce overall people with SUD from returning to street drugs that will put them in gamble of their lives all over again.

I am fu***ng furious over this. We just keep moving farther and farther backwards instead of making actual progress.

SOMETHING NEEDS TO FU***NG CHANGE NOW.
WE CANNOT KEEP LIVING LIKE THIS.

I will be gradually working on setting up my own online support group(s) to help continue to provide safe and accessible support as much as I am able to.

And if this decision affects you, or people you know and love, than I am so sorry and you are more than welcome to vent to me about it. Because this is extremely fu**ed, and we will likely lose too many genuine people to this.

If you often find yourself feeling down and depressed because you're struggling to meet continual standards put in place by our society, that just feel unachievable, pointless, over the top, and ableist, and you don't know what to do about it anymore, let's chat. Because you are not alone, and I can tell you that you are not the problem for not being able to meet these unrealistic standards.

But what do we do when our everyday lives count on us reaching these standards? We take steps in our favor of our recovery, that keep us afloat, while setting reasonable goals that can help us maintain life in our current societal setup, without fully throwing us under in one direction or another. Surviving our current day society requires rebuilding communal mutual aid, digging into our traumas and better understanding our needs that were never met, caring for them as we rebuild our self boundaries, and finding a form of balance that works best for you.

As no system of societal life and personal life balance is meant to work for everyone the way it works for another. Individualism is more than just our self identity, it is how we navigate our lives. We aren't navigating anyone else's lives but our own, yet we tend to always lump ourselves into a crowd system in one form or another, and we can typically account this to our societal views being pushed on us. However, to take care of others, we must be able to take care of ourselves. And no this does not mean you are not allowed to help someone else, or love someone else, or care for someone else, unless you can fully do so for yourself 100% without the assistance of another. This simply means we need to understand ourselves enough to know what can we actually give, that doesn't take away from us on a catastrophic level.

If this is the type of conversations you tend to have with yourself, with your friends, your family, or whomever will humor you in the moment, then maybe consider sticking around and joining future discussions and future group events.

A brief update on my bookings and services!

I have recently discovered that in Washington, I can give my services as a Life Coach, while I'm still in school for my Addiction and Assault Recovery Coaching and Counseling. As Washington state does not regulate this title or its credentials. I'll likely look into a Life Coaching Credential to start near the end of my current Course, but with this information now brought to my attention, I now have a new outlet I can explore that I can use to help generate my new clientele, and pay for my schooling and other daily expenses.

I'm not opening my books immediately to this, as I am going to do some detoured studying first. But Washington only offers a 60 hour Credential Course, for those who want that Certification on their wall, too. They don't regulate those working under the title at all, outside of they can only accept Private Pay and they still need to abide by HIPAA and HITECH regulations.

I have a lot of resources that I've been wanting to be able to share to those who are looking for it, as well. A lot of resources that have helped me, and are still helping me. And I have weekly classes to attend every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, for advice, education, and on-going support exactly for someone in my position trying to step into the Coaching and Counseling world. So by Monday, I'll know my plans on when I'll open booking for "Student" Life Coaching. Student is because I am a Student, and I am learning as I work and won't be charging my full amount that I would, should my first course be completed. Especially not the amount I would charge should all of my schooling be completed.

After a bit more studying, I will be open my books for limited services as a "Life Coach"before the month is out. These Life Coaching services will be restricted to Washington State Residents for the time being, as I do more research on what states regulate this title, and what stayes don't.

These seevices can include my Addiction and Assault Recovery, and likely will as that's been my biggest drive, but will fall primarily under us trying to help you redirect your life as you want it to, as safely as we can. Which is essentially what I'll be doing once I receive my full Certified CARC Credentials, anyways.

All my love,
Dice

Hello, all!

I know I created this page with the intention of building up followers and potential future clients as I went through my various schoolings to further my education around Assault and Addiction Recovery. But then I immediately went quiet outside of personal postings on my personal page.

I apologize for that, and want to better clarify what to expect as I grow this page in the near future.

I will be slowly posting some of what I've posted in relation to my schooling and my counseling journeys on my personal page, over onto here; but will mainly be using this as a place holder for when I'm far more established into what all I'll be doing. Once I can better reflect what my sessions and their pricing will look like, will I then begin building those aspects of this page.

As of currently, I am still on track for roughly either a Spring to Early Summer 2023 Graduation from my ARCS to Freedom CARC I&II Courses. Once Graduated, then I will be announcing my session openings. Until then, I will be gradually updating this page, building my official website, and will continually be working towards building myself into the person I want to be. I will be persuing further education in Psychology and Behavioral Health Sciences, as well, so that I can continue growing alongside my future clients, in hopes of continually striving to always bring my best to our sessions. As well as endlessly learning from each experience I endure by myself and with others, either of my own or of anothers.

Every moment is an opportunity to learn, grow, and better ourselves.

Transparency will always be the main goal of this page. With that being said, I will be aiming to primarily work with those who are far less likely to be in a position of affording the help that they need, and will be instilling a generous pay what you can/sliding scale system based on trust, honor, and honesty.
All I ask that if my rates can be fully covered without harming yourself financially, please be honest in what you can afford, and save this honor system for those who genuinely need it. However, I will not question what pay you say you can afford for our future sessions together.

I'll be aiming to take on all Youth Sessions as Free or a Pay What You Feel Appropriate Only basis - However, only adults who state they have the means will be asked to Pay What You Can or Pay Full Price. If you do not have the means, you do not have the means. In which, only if you feel you must, will I accept payment. Do not feel obligated to do so if you cannot afford to do so. Just be honest, is all I will always ask. I only ask for payment, because I too need to survive in order to continue assisting our multiple communities as best as I can. But, I do not agree with a majority of our society in saying if you can't afford the help you need, then you can't access the help you need.

In relation to that, I will also have a donation system set up that allows others to pay for someones session if they so wish to. To help me continue provoding my services to those in need. As with my CARC title, when operating under those titles services, I can only accept private pay from those residing in the United States. Insurance and Government Aid will not be accepted, as I believe in fully upholding Client Provider Confidentiality, and do not agree with giving details of our sessions to Government Aid and Insurance Providers so that you can recieve the services you need. Nor does my Grant Funded Education Board that provides the CARC certification titles, allow CARC Providers to accept payment from Government Aid or Insurance Providers, or work in a facility that accepts payment from Government Aid or Insurance Providers.
Our sessions are ours, and that alone.
Only you have the power and right to share your confidential information with others.
I do not and I will not.

My goal will be to work within our various communities of people who are one or more of the following:

• LGBTQIA+
• Neurodivergent ***(Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD/ADHD/DAVE, Sensory Disorder)***
• Chronically Ill and Disabled ***(Visible Or Invisible Welcome)***
• S*x Workers
• Women
• BIPoC
• Houseless and/or Living In Their Vehicles
• Substance Users Past and Present and/or Their Loved Ones
***(12 Step Programs Are Not Required Or Enforced - But under my title, will have to be a part of my Addiction Recovery Programs recommended to try, if that's what you're seeking)***
• Activists
• Victims Of Organized Religions and Cults
• Victims Of The Law
• Victims Of Crime
• Victims Of Our Society
• Survivors Of SA and DV
• "Sub-Class" Communities ***(I.e., Punk, Goth, Underground, Rap, Hip-Hop, Folk, etc., etc., related Music, Morals, and Ethics Scenes)***
• Youth

As I better prepare myself, and feel confident in my own education and experiences, I will begin adding to this list of communities I wish to help.

As a part of my transparency; I may be an Indigenous person myself, but I am not as closely tied to my roots as I wish I was. Regardless of what I've experienced as a Euro-Scandi and Choctaw-Cree Individual, I have experienced them as a predominantly perceived Euro Passing Individual. Not as a predominantly perceived Indigenous Passing Individual.
I cannot directly relate to others who have not experienced life seen as a predominantly Euro Passing Individual. But if I can help you in any form within my capabilities, my services are always open to you.

I hope this information better helps explain the current purpose of this page, and where it will be taken in the near future.

Thank you,

Dice Eira Wrathborne

Howdy, y'all!

As some of y'all are aware, I've recently begun the journey of obtaining my Counselors Certification for CARC I&II. Here on this page is where I'll be sharing donation links for anyone who would like to help me pay for my schooling, or help pay for future appointments of clients in need.

What is CARC I&II?

Well, CARC I will allow me to legally be a Counselor for Substance Use in the United States. This can be for those struggling with Substance Use, or for any family and friends of those struggling with Substance Use, or even those who have struggled in the past and are looking for continued support.
CARC II will allow me to legally be a Counselor for Domestic Violence and S*xual Assault Victims and Survivors, any family or friends of Victims and Survivors, or anyone who has witnessed another being assaulted.

Those are two topics very important to me, as I've gone through both. As have many of my friends and family. And as I went about having to self-therapy myself through my own experiences and traumas, I found myself naturally trying to assist my loved ones. Eventually, this led to me stumbling upon a Grant Program through ARCS to Freedom made specifically for people like me. Someone who has lived these and wants to help, but doesn't have a Masters Degree or PhD.

However, gaining certification through this grant means I cannot accept insurance, and can only accept private pay. Because of this, I am aiming to solely do a Pay What You Can form of Sliding Scale Fees.

The goal of this page is to help promote mental health awareness and it's normalcy. Here we're honest, we're blunt, we're open. No matter how we're feeling that day. Open honesty is how we heal, and to help promote this, I'll be sharing my own resources I've gathered along the way. As the other goal is making mental healthcare accessible. Even if I'm limited to just my Counselors Certificate.

This page is also here for transition from Student to Counselor, and will act as a source of booking future Counseling Sessions.
This is currently estimated to be Mid-March 2023 as the timing of my Graduation.

If you'd like to help financially support me in this, I have weekly goals of $25 until I graduate (shy of $1000 in total) to pay for part of my schooling courses not covered by the grant. As well as a goal of $125 to help repair my laptops touch screen for my mandatory weekly online sessions. And a goal of $250 to go towards additional school supplies to help me as I work through my courses. Any help beyond those goals will go towards my Pay What You Can CARC Sessions in 2023.

I will make an additional post to re-cover donations and to help track goals.
