Become a key player at a busy primary care medical office. We are looking for someone who reliable, friendly, detail oriented and organized. The front desk staff play a vital role, as this is the first impression patients have of our office. Therefore, it will be your responsibility to create a warm, welcoming environment. Our ideal candidate is someone who is a good team player, as we are a small office.
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Answering phone calls and directing messages to appropriate staff members
• Explaining the clinic’s values and structure to inquiring patients
• Registering new patients, making sure intake forms are filled out and data is entered into the EMR system correctly
• Booking appointments, being careful to schedule appropriately during a busy day
• Collecting payments and posting them appropriately
• Managing clinic memberships
• Obtaining and filing medical records
We are seeking a candidate who is interested in a long term position. Customer service skills are important, as well as great verbal/written communication skills. Experience in the medical field is preferred, although we are willing to train the right candidate. Proficiency in Word & Excel preferred. Candidate must provide references. Compensation is $19 -$22/hour DOE; benefits include health insurance coverage. Serious inquiries only, please.
