Gents, a quick PSA for :
Melanoma isn't just a little concern. For men, it's a more significant threat.
Here's why:
- Men are at a greater risk of melanoma, compared to women, especially as they get older
- Men typically apply sunscreen less frequently, which contributes to the increased risk
- The thicker, more UV-sensitive nature of men's skin makes them more vulnerable.
🛡️ How to Stay Protected:
- Regular skin checks, including self-exams
- Use sunscreen (SPF 30+), wear protective clothing, and avoid peak sun hours
Early detection can make all the difference. Stay vigilant and proactive about your skin health.
