With my telehealth functional health practice, after many years of talking with people in our community all day long to see what works to reach their goals with those symptoms, and constantly researching the gold standard studies, here’s what I have found work most often…
Clues regarding what I said in the banner? You have light, clay colored or floating stools (signs of poor bile flow and fat digestion), feel bloated even after light meals, bloating after fatty meals (avocado, nuts, olive oil, etc.), chronic skin issues, easily overwhelmed or headaches from smells, alcohol, or medications, low energy all day, pain under right side of the ribcage (please don’t delay any longer if that is happening).
Here’s what I’m seeing work…
* Be very clear you balanced water, stress, fitness, sleep, protein, toxin exposure. I work with people on all that to make it manageable, as well as lab ordering and interpreting - to customize it.
* Eat bitter foods daily, there are ways to make it tasty!
* If that doesn’t do the trick, temporarily supplement with these until your body can take over: taurine, glycine, vitamin C, maybe milk thistle. Ox bile until if you have no gallbladder.
There are other steps if that doesn’t work.
Supporting your liver can be the missing link. Put your hand over it right now, it’s under the right side of your rib cage. We have only one liver. It can be really fun to see how it feels when you make changes to support it, associate with it - instead of dissociate from it 💚
