BACC Celebrates Women Owned Businesses
Today we celebrate, Thrive Medical Services
How long have you been in business?
The business was established couple of years ago as a result of the pandemic. I like to call it “a successful pandemic story.” I saw how many people couldn’t access health care during covid and I decided to bring the care into their homes or offering transportation to the medical appointments.
What is your mission statement or what you’re known for?
I like to think that access to healthcare it’s a human right and everyone should enjoy it not just some people.
What is your why and passion around your business?
This business was developed during COVID, after seeing the awful impact of lockdown on people’s health. I like to call this business “a successful pandemic story.” I saw how many people couldn’t access health care during covid and I decided to bring the care into their homes or offering transportation to the medical appointments.
What has been your biggest achievement or proudest moment?
Facilitating access to health care which in turn saves lives continues to be my biggest achievement.
What are some things you’d like clients to know about your business?
It’s a small, woman owned business with hopes and dreams to make healthcare accessible to as many people as possible.
How can you help locally?
We are in working towards a collaboration with Oregon Department of Veteran’s Affairs in hopes to offer jobs to our veterans.
We also have an internal training program for young girls and women who are trying to get in the workforce or single moms who are returning to the work force. This goes hand in hand with my foundation, Women of Impact where we focus on mentoring and empowering young girls and women.
Anything else you’d like to add-
I’m excited to be part of Beaverton Chamber of Commerce!
