Smile Solution

Smile Solution Laughter was medicine when I battled with cancer. Now I share this opportunity with other “Laughter is the best medicine”.

For me, in my fight against cancer: it made all the difference. I dedicate my life to making audiences laugh and enjoy a busy career as a comedic performer. When I became sick laughter became a source of healing. This project shares my experience with others struggling through health challenges, depression and physical or emotional pain.

Before emails.
Before meetings.
Before the “quick call” that won’t be quick…

Pause.

Take a breath.
Drop your shoulders.
Maybe even… smile a little (don’t worry, no one’s watching… yet).

Because most of the stress you feel right now?
It’s not reality.

It’s anticipation.

And the fastest way to reset your week
is not working harder…

It’s creating a moment of awareness.

👉 This week, don’t just react.
Reset.

Last night = laughter + purpose ❤️

I got invited to perform at a fundraiser for the Washougal Library… and I loved every second of it.

Because libraries aren’t just about books.

They’re about people.
About curiosity.
About giving everyone a chance to learn and grow.

That’s something I care about a lot.

If I can bring a little laughter to a room that’s supporting something this meaningful… I’m in. Every time.

Also… yes, we had fun 😄

I almost walked past this.

Brain: emails, work, “I should be more productive”
Reality: this tiny little scene on a bridge just chilling like a piece of art 😄

And it hit me…

We’re so busy chasing big things
we forget the small ones are doing all the heavy lifting.

• The quick smile
• The “hey, how are you—no really”
• The 10-second pause instead of reacting

That’s the stuff that actually changes relationships.

Not the big speeches.
Not the perfect plans.

Just… little moments done with intention.

So today: 👉 Notice one small thing
👉 Do one small thing

You’d be surprised how big that becomes.

The other day I did a workshop inside a juvenile detention facility with

It was my first time working in that kind of environment, and I walked in not knowing what to expect.

But the room reminded me of something powerful:

People are people everywhere.

There was laughter.
There was creativity.
There was connection.
There were moments where the room softened.

Sometimes play is the doorway back to dignity, trust, and possibility.

Grateful, humbled, and reminded why this work matters.

Stress doesn’t send a calendar invite.

It just shows up like:
“Surprise 😄… we’re panicking now.”

This clip 👇 is about something simple:

We don’t learn how to handle stress in the moment.

We just react.

But the second you notice it:
“Ah… this is stress talking.”

You get your power back.

And honestly?

Sometimes all it takes is a little humor
to break the pattern.

Rehearsal as a speaker is basically:

You 🤝 Wall

“Does this make sense?”
Silence.
“Cool cool cool… I’ll take that as a yes.”

No laughs.
No feedback.
Just vibes… and self-doubt 😂

But THAT’S where the magic happens.

That’s where you:
🎤 find your rhythm
🎤 test your stories
🎤 build real confidence

So when people are in the room… you’re not winging it.

You’re ready.

👇 Speakers—what’s your thing?
Do you rehearse out loud? Record yourself? Or just trust the chaos?

Awareness = the pause that changes everything.

Ever notice how fast we react when stress kicks in?
(No thinking… just full “movie scene” mode 😅)

That’s where laughter comes in.

It gives you a little space to step back and go:
“Wait… this is stress talking.”
“Not reality.”

And in that tiny pause?
You get your power back.

Because once you’re aware… you have a choice.

So here’s one for you 👇
Where are you reacting to stress instead of reality?

Last night reminded me of something simple:

Even the heaviest topics don’t have to feel… heavy.

I was at Alumni AMPLIFIED at Oregon State University’s College of Business, listening to leaders from banking & finance—real talk, no fluff, lots of experience in the room.

But the moment that stuck?

The humor.

Shoutout to Danielle Hart for bringing lightness into a topic that could’ve easily felt dense. And surprise surprise… 👇
People leaned in.
They listened more.
They connected.

That’s the magic.

A little humor doesn’t take away from the message…
It makes it land.

Because people don’t just remember what you say—
they remember how you made them feel.

Now I’m curious 👇
Have you ever seen humor completely shift a serious conversation?

It’s rarely about the job itself.

It’s about:

how people feel
how they’re treated
how safe they feel to show up

👉 You don’t build retention with perks.
👉 You build it with environment.

What’s the biggest reason you’ve seen people leave?

😂

New meeting idea:
No agenda.
Just laughter. 😂
3 minutes. Big impact.

04/14/2026

Me: “Hi, I’m Stefano”
Them: “Nice to meet you, Stephanie!”

At this point I just go with it 😄

I’ve learned something though…

Being able to laugh at yourself?
That’s a leadership skill.

It makes you:
✔️ More human
✔️ More approachable
✔️ Way easier to be around

And quick question…

Do you like being around people who make you happy…
or people who stress you out?

Exactly.

Humor isn’t extra.
It’s what makes people want to stick around.

Also…
👉 Stefano
👉 Like Stephanie… but with a NO

Don’t mess it up 😎
