So I noticed all of a sudden people are looking at this page. Let me tell you that if you’re looking for my stuff, your best bet is to look at my Instagram. I do not sell off of a specific website, I sell via consignment agreements with businesses.

I am absolutely terrible at taking pictures of my work for social media. It’s true. I believe that an Artist’s work should speak for itself, not pictures of what I ate last night for supper. 🤷‍♀️
At any rate, I was thrilled to see part of the text on the book page that I used to photograph this piece literally says “on a mushroom”. Is it a sign? Is it the Faeries? I’ll let you be the judge.
This is one of my newest pieces with a Spiralite fossil shell. These Fossils are amazing little treasures, and I’ll have a few more pieces that I’ll be making in the next few days.

This week’s Faery Oracle card is “Arval Parrot”, which is entirely about communication.
I ask you to think about this past year and a half in terms of your interactions with others.
We are all creatures of various habits, some of which, are determined by our environments. The general public as become even more out of touch with one another. The struggle to communicate and relate to one another is for front in relation to this reading.
Sitting at home and texting a friend, zoom meetings, skype, etc.. are all incredibly impersonal. Many people have lost the ability to notice social cues. The human experience is not one that should have ever become so out of touch with one another and yet, here we are.
So, beyond this blanket of general miscommunication, let’s visit what this card is reminding us to do.
Arval works hard at not just verbal communication; he is also fond of expression. We do “speak” to each other through body language. Can you make eye contact with whom you are speaking to? That’s a signal that a point isn’t coming across. Do you frown as you talk with your friends about your day? Do you pick at your skin as you tell a story?
Spend some time this week being present as you communicate face to face with others. If you need some help, rehearse normal interactions you have daily in the mirror. Ask yourself how those moments might be coming across. This exercise will help you become more conscience of behaviors that you’ve become accustomed to.
Watch your tone when you speak. Whatever verbal communication you are participating in should be done with loving kindness. It’s hard, and it apparently requires “elbow grease”. As Brian, the creator of these cards mentions in the written definition of this card, “ Arval wants you to know that his elbows are fully greased.”
Lastly, express yourself through creative outlets. Sing loudly, dance frantically. Paint your room a soothing color. Expression is, in fact, the best universal languge. At the core, we all know that love is certainly the most pleasant expression of all!

It’s been about a week after my surgery, so I figured I would start posting again. I used this time away from social media to re-center, and focus on what’s the most important to me.
When I started playing with the idea of starting a metaphysical side business, I was confident that it would be rewarding in the sense of close connections with like minded people, and building meaningful relationships with people who could use some spiritual coaching. Since then, I’ve had the carpet pulled out from under me regarding my health. You can’t help people when you aren’t at your best, and that was the first reason for taking a break. The second reason is because of current “trends”. It’s deflating and terribly disheartening to find that a lot of people are doing the performative fad new age thing, and do not actually care much for people. It’s about capitalizing on spirituality- and it’s gross!
So, while I re-work how I plan on doing things in the future, know that I do still plan on making lots of wearable items, healing remedies, and other fun stuff. That part won’t change, but the way I work with the public regarding metaphysical practices IS going to change. Be careful out there folks. There’s a lot of fraudulent people that can’t wait to take advantage of you and your money. 🦉🧚🏻‍♀️🦉

I’ll be taking a “social media break” from now until after my surgery but before I go, here is a special “Runes of Elfland” reading in celebration of Summer Solstice.
Here, we have A Rune of Thorn that is a gift to be used when a hurtful secret must be kept, or when you have no other choice than to heal.
I feel that many of us are still feeling the strain of the COVID virus, but not in ways that we normally think about. There’s been many lost connections between friends, family, and loved ones, and now we have to figure out where to even start to regain relationships that seem misplaced.
You may think that everything is “back to normal” in your personal life, but I challenge you to think back to right before lockdown : was there an argument that never felt settled? Did you mean to tell a relative some bad news, but ended up just pushing it under the rug? Were you meaning to tell your boss that you don’t appreciate the way they speak to you, but now have been swallowing that bitter aggression?
No matter what kind of conflict you are currently navigating, now is the time to decide to either confess it, or release it. Small, unattended wounds grow worse with time. Take your pain and burn it in the solstice fire. If are looking for a physical representation of letting this go, try writing it on a piece of paper with the rune on the other side. If you have any dried Saint John’s Wart available, toss some into the fire as well for protection.
Here is the Elvin Charm that you can recite to yourself, or aloud as you try to heal:

My silly kitty watching me tend to my garden from the roof. He’s quite the majestic creature sometimes. There aren’t too many places that he doesn’t follow me lately. It always amazes me how animals can sense when something is wrong with you. This whole time that I have been waiting for my surgery he’s been such a wonderful little companion. To the point where when I get up and am sick in the middle of the night he sits and meows at the bathroom door until I open it up. 🤣✨🐈‍⬛✨

Hello everyone, and welcome to this week’s fairy Oracle card(s). If you have read my Sunday posts before, then you know that I usually pull only one card for general public. Well, today the Fae had other ideas on what I need to tell you because when I pulled the card, 2 popped out!
So, this week’s reading is all about finding lost hope. We’ve got “Ilbe the Retriever” and “The Singers of Healing”….actually, strike that, turn it around… the Singers came first! 🤣 Truth is, no matter which way you look at this pair, the sediment is the same. All Fae energies work together, and learn from each other no matter how dreadful, or annoying they may think their surroundings may be. There’s a lot to be learned from that.
These cards should be applied to a situation where you need to end a hurtful situation, but you just aren’t quite sure how to do it. Being a compassionate person means that you may not want to hurt anyone with your final choices, but keep in mind that by avoiding the situation, you are wearing yourself down like a pencil eraser. Ilhe wants you to know that they have hidden your hope until now. It’s kind of like when you lose something that is important to you. Maybe you were too careless about it at the time, so they hid it from you. Tricky behavior is a regular trait of the Fae. When you scramble and throw hissy fits because you can’t find your car keys, know that the Fae spirits that visit you just laugh, and laugh. You really do look silly when your head is filled with frustration.
Ilhe will retrieve what is needed just in the nick of time, but now they want to ask, “what are you going to do with it?”.
Besides dropping some hope off on your doorstep this week, Ilhe also deals with trust, and loyalty. Take a good look at who is bringing you down right now. You may find you don’t have to look much further than yourself. 🧚🏻‍♀️🦉🧚🏻‍♀️

Nothing gives me more joy than seeing one of my pieces near completion. I have a few pendants that are in the drying phase today. Next, I have to finish off the backs. I’ve been playing with the idea of painting runes on the back of each one…🧐hmmmm….we shall see.

It’s really hard not to get tied into the social media rat race. Let things flow gracefully. Your frame of mind is an indicator of your holistic health. Don’t make yourself crazy with “empty” posts for attention.
I was watching Amber Ruffin on Seth Meyers the other night and she brought up this lady who was called out for being a fake on social media by other people in her field. It really hit me hard, because a few weeks before a couple of friends on my Facebook posted videos of this lady who is supposedly a bee keeper. She probably is, but from the moment I saw her, I questioned how she could possibly do her job in fashionable clothing, flawless makeup, and near perfect hair that she left down. All I can say is, real recognizes real. I don’t feel so bad now that I sat with negative feelings about her. I just saw it for what it was worth.
Let it Flow, friends. Your authentic self is the most beautiful variety of you. 🦉

Hello everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! This week’s Oracle card is “The Singers of Courage”.
As you probably can already tell, this card is about finding the courage to tackle hard situations this week. Don’t worry, because you have the support that you need to help stand your ground and move past the difficult process.
Make sure to speak up when you are being dismissed about your feelings, and take the initiative to stand up for others who may not yet have such strength .
While you do this, be sure to be careful about expecting others to look at you as some type of hero. One of the most courageous virtues to have is to be humble, and to do the right things when no one else is looking. 🧚🏻‍♀️🦉🧚🏻‍♀️

It’s difficult to see people, especially in the “spiritually woke” community, try to keep up this persona of perfect beauty and a perfect life. It’s just as bad as the toxic positivity craze that misinforms and manipulates people who are just trying to find themselves. My heart breaks when I see young people falling into false ideas about what true happiness should look like.
Life is messy. Sometimes we “ugly cry” and, btw if someone is judging you because your makeup isn’t “on fleet” today you need to get rid of that person in your life. Be gentle on yourself. After all, you’re only human. 🦉🧚🏻‍♀️🦉
