Should I try to sell my hand poured mineral baths? I’d like all the profits to go toward mutual aid but not sure if it would be able to sustain a living for someone and have leftover for mutual aid. I feel like I’d need to charge at least $40 per jar. That would be 1 mineral bath and satchel bag in a mason jar.

Letting go of this project is bittersweet.

I know the bathhouse has been a special place for my comrades.

I’m a very private person but I feel like some of yall would like a few more details.

I’m a renter. I built out the bathhouse in 2018 knowing I could receive a 90 day notice to vacate at any time. I built it to be removed and reused. I planned to move to a new location in the Portland area at some point.

Skip to 2021 when I found my dream lover Alex & my best bubbas Mulligan. We looked for places to settle together all over the PNW but in the end we have got the amazing opportunity to immigrate to Hawai’i and join the ground fight for Pele’s sovereignty.

I’ve kept the bathhouse going while traveling back and forth for over a year. As you can imagine, it’s not sustainable and my maxed out credit cards are proof.

So the time has come to say goodbye to so-called Portland, reunite with my family and start a new adventure. I hope to have a going away party in September.
