Try it just for today.
You are a powerful being, more powerful than you might imagine.
By simply feeling peace, you have more impact than you might even believe. Just keep taking seven minutes a day or a bit more to just stop, quiet down, take a few calming breaths, relax your shoulders, feel your body, and feel for peace. Feel peace filling your body, vibrating in every cell, activating your light body, energizing your energetic field, raising your frequency, and radiating peace all around you
into the world. In this way, we connect with the ocean of peace
that is the foundation of this universe, and each one of us.
You are a magnificent being!
Take some time every day to feel into the beauty of you, and let peace radiate all around you.
Simply let it happen.

In this life, every feeling is welcome. Every emotion, no matter how heavy, exists for a reason. Feelings are not mistakes; they are messengers, threads weaving us back to the core of who we are, revealing truths we may need to hear. When we honor them instead of turning away, we embody the ancient wisdom that it is in embracing, not resisting, our feelings that we find healing and meaning.

If you feel betrayed, worn out, or lost in these days, know that surrendering to what you feel is a powerful act of self-love. Place a hand on your heart, welcome your emotions, and breathe deeply through them. Imagine drawing calm and strength from the earth below, releasing any weight that is too heavy to carry alone. Even the earth knows the need to rest, to lie fallow, to renew. And so do you.

Release what feels too heavy so you can reconnect with a deeper sense that, even when it’s hard to see how, healing is possible. You don’t need to carry everything alone, and you don’t need to understand it all now. Trust, in whatever way feels right for you, that by honoring your sacred rhythm, you are bringing a form of healing to yourself and to the world around you.🩵

I hope this finds you well. I've kinda been MIA. My sincere apologies. I've had an amazing summer, but I've also been dealing with loss and family trama. I am finally seeing the light. It feels good to wrap myself around a blanket of love. This is where I find resilience. 🩵

Do you wish your body was more flexible? Keep reading.

Many of us started practising yoga because we wanted to be more flexible, and while stretching is often an essential part of every yoga class, there’s a lot of misunderstanding around it.

While stretching can give us a sweet release and keep our muscles and connective tissues supple, there’s no apparent functional reason for us to be able to touch our toes with straight legs or drop into the Splits! In fact, over-stretching can cause injuries, stress the nervous system and actually hinder our flexibility.

It’s also important to remember that our muscles need a degree of tightness in order to engage and enable us to move. When we invest in functional mobility and improve our range of motion instead, we work with our muscles in a much healthier and respectful way, and this can affect our quality of life in the long term.

Truth ✌️= CALM

Sadhana is life unfolding with attention toward intention.

Sadhana is the way we are in the world according to the person we aspire to be in the small to grand events of our life.

Sadhana is the commitment to practice that continually reorients us to the path we ultimately long to walk. Through sadhana, we ritualize of our daily activities, as a reminder that every moment is sacred.

With the myriad distractions in life, we are so easily pulled away from our deepest heart's longing. We get pulled off track by the drama around us, and even chase it around.

Sadhana—the ritualizing of our life—is a way of redirecting again and again and again our prana (life force) in the direction that we more deeply long to orient.

Through consistent sadhana we show up for ourselves through highs and lows, in pleasure and in pain alike. Practice helps us touch back into the clarity that lives within. Our internal wisdom so often gets masked by life's circumstances—by our samskaras, or habitual grooves.

Sadhana and the commitment to ritual practices that we choose or that a teacher prescribes, brings us closer to ourselves and a deeper understanding of our mind, body, and soul.

Where do you find refuge when you really need it?

Yoga CALM has become my new-ish thing these days. I'm sensing how my Self sees the world, and quite honestly, I'm feeling anxious because of it. I'm experiencing all the "feels" and my body is taking on symptoms! 😮

I don't want to become what I feel because I'm not THAT. So, I ask myself this: what am I not doing?
Certainly, I need to get a grip, and handle things better so my perspective can adapt to such changing times! What draws me the most, and I mean MOST, is being outside in nature. Whether it's taking a much needed run on the beautiful trails near by, or a long walk to the beach, or finding a quiet spot to sit and close my eyes.

Whenever I am outside, it does something externally peaceful for my entire being. Here, is where I find CALM. My Yoga-CALM is just to find presence wherever I am outside. My psyche shifts to a whole other time where I'm not feeling anxious and overwhelmed. I can actually exhale, and my body feels relaxed and light!

This is how I live yoga and practice off the mat. It has given me the tools to acknowledge when I need to take care of my internal BE-ING. It takes practice to get to this place of knowing how and when to act. Be patient with yourself if you're on a similar journey. Nature has her magical powers! ☺️

Love,
Ela

It's been downright hot outside. A lot of my friends who live in Oregon, are definitely seeing hotter temps than where I live. Today, in Northern Washington, it is quite breezy with temps that are normal for these parts.
Here is a summer yoga flow I found on the web. It might come in handy and help regulate your body's temperature . 🥰

This simple, accessible practice can be broken down into 15-minutes segments; the entire sequence takes about 45 minutes to complete.

Our Story

Yoga is for everyone! Most people who begin yoga for the first time always tell me that they aren't flexible, giving me heads up that they aren't good enough. Yoga doesn't discriminate or judge. It holds you deeply at rest, teaching you that everything will unfold in its own natural time. You don't have to be good at it; you just have to show up! My intention is and always will be to serve my community with an open and honest heart. You can contact me at einwinecountry@comcast.net Namaste. Ela
