Every stage is an opportunity to connect, uplift, and keep the energy flowing. Honored each time I get the mic.

25 years ago, I bought shoes for everyone but myself. It hit me later, I was pouring into everyone else while leaving my own cup empty.

Remember this: you can’t pour from an empty cup, but you can’t drink from one either. Take care of yourself, it’s good for your mental health.

Being intentional matters. I’m in Philly for a counseling conference, reminding myself (and you) to make time for spaces that build us up.

I had the privilege of co-presenting with Anthony Jordan at the Let’s Stay Together Family Conference on “The Myth of the Unbreakable Man: Why Toughness Needs Truth.” Together, we discussed how openness and authenticity can transform relationships and strengthen mental well-being.
