Founded in 1993, InterMed serves 75,000 primary care patients in the community through our practice sites in Portland, South Portland, and Yarmouth. Specialty and ancillary services supports patient care with laboratory testing, radiology, diagnostic imaging, as well as therapeutic services, such as physical therapy. Specialty physician services include Anti-Coagulation, Audiology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Ear Nose & Throat, OB/GYN, and Sports Medicine. Our Marginal Way location boast two state-of-the-art surgical rooms, where we offer procedures for our Gynecologic, Otolaryngology (Ears, Nose, and Throat), Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Urology patients. InterMed also provides on-site medical care and physical therapy services at IDEXX and L.L.Bean.

Meet Holly Knotowicz, MS, CCC-SLP!

Holly is a Speech Language Pathologist who specializes in feeding, dysphagia, and neurogenic disorders. She works with patients of all ages, helping them improve their quality of life through individualized, evidence-based care.

Her work is also deeply personal. Living with eosinophilic esophagitis herself, Holly understands the challenges her patients face and is passionate about helping others navigate eating and swallowing disorders with confidence.

Meet Caroline Foust-Wright, MD, MBA!

Dr. Foust-Wright specializes in Urogynecology and loves the balance of surgical care and long-term treatment that can meaningfully improve her patients’ quality of life. She takes pride in listening closely, understanding each patient’s goals, and tailoring care to their individual needs in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Originally from Oklahoma and now a longtime New Englander, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three kids, and two puppies. When she’s not chauffeuring her kids to activities or skiing, you might find her beekeeping, learning to bake bread, or taking pottery classes with a friend.

Meet Gloriya Monty and Nicole Dziadosz, Echo Technologists at InterMed.

Gloriya was drawn to medicine after helping care for her grandfather through years of cardiology appointments. Seeing the testing and teamwork behind his care sparked her interest in the field. She says her favorite part of InterMed is working with a team that always supports one another and makes coming to work fun.

Nicole shares that choosing a career in healthcare was one of the best decisions she’s made. She loves making a difference in people’s lives and being part of a company that supports her growth. Outside of work, you’ll find her outdoors exploring, hiking, and adventuring whenever she can.

Together, they help our cardiology team deliver thoughtful, patient-centered care every day, and we are proud to have them on our team.
