One of the most heartbreaking things a parent tells us:"I can see my child wants to talk. They just can't get the words out." This is often Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) β€” a motor speech disorder where the brain has difficulty planning and sequencing the movements needed to produce speech sounds correctly.
Children with CAS:
