It was with great sadness that we've learned of the passing of our mentor, Dr. James Cox. To say that he was a giant in our field is an understatement. Dr. Cox is largely to thank for anyone who has gained benefit from Chiropractic services in our office. We were honored that Dr Cox asked Dr. Miller to co-author two separate papers with him. We have spent many hours under Dr. Cox's tutelage and will do our best to carry on this man's amazing legacy. Rest in peace to our mentor and friend, Dr. James Cox.

It's a Winter Wonderland in Hampton Roads this morning! The parking lot and sidewalks have been shoveled but may still be slippery so proceed with caution if you have an appointment with us today. If you are shoveling snow, try bending your knees and hips to keep the pressure off of the lower back. Breathe in as you lift or push. Breathe out as you throw. Remember to take frequent breaks. Being out in the cold can cause your blood vessels to constrict. Within just 2 minutes of shoveling, your heart can reach 85% of its maximum heart rate, according to the American Heart Association. Stay safe as you enjoy playing in the snow!

Cade Keefe is excited to once again participate in the Mayflower Marathon Food Drive. Last year, due to your generosity, we were able to donate 147 lbs of food to provide for those in need. We will be collecting food at the office for the Foodbank of Southeast Virginia & the Eastern Shore through Friday, November 22nd. If you would like to participate, feel free to drop off any items at our office. The Foodbank has a need for Holiday menu items, lean protein, such as canned meat or fish, canned fruits and vegetables, condiments and spices, boxed canned food, baby products, personal hygiene products, and peanut butter.
