Teleace graduated from Liberty University with a Masters in Human Services Counseling and Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is currently licensed as a Resident in Counseling with the Virginia Board of Counseling, and pursuing her completed hours towards License Professional Counseling. Teleace counsels using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy, primarily, specializing in depression, anxiety, grief, relationships and communication, divorce recovery, coparenting, mother-daughter issues, life transitioning, college and career transitioning, personal growth, and processing past trauma. Talented Tuesday! Meet our talented Joy Porter-Blount.
She has served in the mental health field since 1999 in different capacities (residential treatment, group homes, and 17 years in Intensive In-Home Services). She received my license in professional counseling in July 2018, and is thoroughly building positive therapeutic rapport with her clients. Joy serves as Clinical Director for Glascow Health Services LLC since September 2020. Joy has also been in ministry since December 1996 and ordained since December 2012. Joy is honored to “hear her clients hearts and take a walk with you in your life journey”.
