Last but certainly not least is our fearless leader, Eva Montagne. Eva is the Executive Director for this year's event. Apart from Up 'Til Dawn, Eva is involved Delta Zeta at Clarkson University, current President of Clarkson University Panhellenic Association, a member of the Student Association of Engineering and Management all while interning for Veritas Prime! When shes not doing bettering one of these organizations or talking about her Crocs, Eva finds time to give back to the children of St. Jude. When asked why she loves being involved with St. Jude and Up 'Til Dawn, Eva said, "I love being involved in St. Jude and Up ‘Til Dawn because it is such a rewarding way to give back and see how you can change somebody’s life. Being the oldest of eight kids has made me realize how important a full life for a child is. I could not imagine what would go through my head if one of my brothers or sisters developed a catastrophic illness – I can only hope to help prevent that going through other people’s heads as well. The efforts that St. Jude puts towards making the curse of childhood cancer turn into only a small bump deserves so much more support that I can give myself, so I started getting involved with Up ‘Til Dawn to amplify the impact."

Jacob Brock Troupe is this year's Assistant Executive Director for our Up 'Til Dawn Executive Board. Jacob is a Junior Physics major who loves being involved and giving his time to his campus organizations. He is Philanthropy and Education Director for Tau Kappa Epsilon at Clarkson, Business Manager for WCKN TV Station and the Vice President of the Physics Club. Apart from all these organizations, Jacob loves helping spread awareness and raising money for St. Jude. When asked why, Jacob said, "I love being involved with St. Jude because I love making a difference, and there’s no better way to do that than to raise money to help cure cancer." Continuing with our Executive Board we have Logan Rieth, our Director of Sponsorship and Fundraising. Logan is a junior Mechanical Engineering major here at Clarkson. He is also the president of Clarkson's Club Football team, Recruitment Director for Tau Kappa Epsilon at Clarkson and represents his class as a CUSA Senator. When asked why he loved being involved with St. Jude and Up 'Til Dawn, Logan said, "I love being involved in Up ‘Til Dawn because all of the support that goes into helping a child in need. This can be through helping pay for the chemotherapy or helping the family pay for the bills during this time of need. I also love Up ‘Til Dawn and St. Jude because all of the research that is done is open to be used anywhere in the world."

As we continue with our Executive Board spotlights, we introduce our Event and Logistics Director, Lily Norton. Lily is a senior Biology & Bio-molecular Science dual major. Outside of her studies, Lily is involved in Delta Zeta at Clarkson University, the Society of Professional Women, and is an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Clarkson. Along with all of her extracurricular activities, Lily still finds time to help out the children of St. Jude! When asked why she loves being involved with St. Jude and Up 'TIl Dawn Lily said, "I initially got involved with Up Til Dawn because I liked that I was able to contribute to St. Jude while here at Clarkson. I continue to work for Up ‘Til Dawn because I want to support the continued research on childhood cancer and treatments done at St. Jude."

Next up on our Executive Board spotlights is our Open Committee Director, Charley Reagan. Charley is a senior Mechanical Engineering major who is also involved in Clarkson's Club Lacrosse team, Ski Club, Shootout for Soldiers and Tau Kappa Epsilon at Clarkson. Outside of these activities, Charley loves being involved, and getting everyone around him involved with St. Jude. When asked why he loves helping with Up 'Til Dawn and St. Jude, he replied, "I support St. Jude so that patients there don't have to worry about the costs of their treatments. I love to help others and I feel that St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is one of the most worthy causes around." Thank you for all you do to help us Charley!

As we get closer to the day of our event, we would like to introduce you to our hard working Executive Board that makes it possible. First up is our Director of Recruitment and Public Relations, Ethan Ross-Hixson. Ethan is a senior Civil Engineer at Clarkson who is also the president of Tau Kappa Epsilon at Clarkson. Outside of his school work and extracurricular involvement, Ethan loves to dedicate his time to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. When asked why he loves being involved with Up 'til Dawn and St. Jude, Ethan replied, "Throughout my life, I’ve always been extremely grateful for my childhood and the experiences I’ve gained throughout it. As I’ve gotten older I have realized that there are children all across the world that have their childhood taken away from them. I love the work done by St. Jude and organizations like Up ‘Til Dawn because they not only raise incredible amounts of funds but also awareness for childhood cancer to ensure that no child dies in the dawn of life. St. Jude has raised the survival rate from 20% to 80% since their founding. This phenomenal organization has given me the opportunity to not only help the amazing kids of St. Jude but also meet many people with the same passion and drive as me to help these children."

We're officially into September which means it's Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Since the founding of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital the survival rate of childhood cancer has risen from 20% to more than 80%! We wont stop until no child dies from cancer. Help us in our fight to end childhood cancer. Our event is just over two months away and we are well on our way to our $20,000 goal.
