I have experienced the foster care system as a child and devoted my life to creating and directing the services provided to children and youth in Lake and Mendocino Counties. For the last five years I have focused on county, state and national advocacy of policy issues regarding healthcare integration, mental health and social services funding. As Founder-Executive Director of a non-profit agency

that serves children, youth and families county wide, and as the long time chairman of the Potter Valley Youth and Community Center, I have knowledge and experience helping to develop programs for rural communities, and have a strong background in funding development and fiscal responsibility.
